Per iscriversi a una Mailing List,
bisogna indirizzare la richiesta al LISTSERV della Mailing
List stessa lasciando in bianco il campo Subj: (Subject)
e scrivendo: SUBSCRIBE (o solo SUB) Nome _della_Lista Nome Cognome. Leggere
attentamente e conservare i messaggi di risposta che perverranno
entro breve tempo.
Per inviare messaggi alla Mailing
List per partecipare alla discussione, bisogna mandare i
messaggi all'indirizzo della Mailing List in genere DIVERSO da quello
del LISTSERV.
Per informarsi se esistono Mailing Lists su
un certo argomento mandare un messaggio, lasciando in bianco il
campo Subj:, a LISTSERV@LISTSERV.NET
e scrivendo la linea seguente:
list global /materia
Esempio:
list global/language
N.B.: di questi ultimi comandi se ne possono
mandare anche più di uno in un unico messaggio.
To subscribe to a Mailing List, one
