My friend Jack is very lazy. Unfortunately, his day is very busy.
He gets up early in the morning at about a quarter to seven.
He takes a shower at ten to seven and at seven he has breakfast.
Then, at twenty-five past seven he leaves home and walks his dog till a quarter to eight.
Then, he sometimes studies or watches TV; but at twenty past eight he is ready for school. He leaves home and goes to the bus stop where he takes bus n° 23 to go to school. Usually, the bus arrives at half past eight and the travel to school takes about twenty minutes, so Jack gets off the bus at about ten to nine; a five-minutes walk and he is at school.
Lessons start at nine o'clock: four hours and, at a quarter to one we have the break all of us go to the school canteen to have lunch. Some of our schoolmates don't have lunch at the school canteen: they bring their packed lunches from home.
Our break lasts an hour and a quarter. The last lesson begins at two o'clock P.M. and ends at three. Jack then runs to the bus stop and twenty minutes later he is at home. Usually it is about half past three or twenty-five to four. He does not do his homework at once, of course; he usually phones me or Maggie askng us to meet him; at he park or somewhere else. Sometimes Maggie and I are busy but we often meet Jack and go with him for a walk. At about five to seven we all go back home. Jack has supper at about a quarter past seven. Then, at last, he does his homework till nine and then he watches TV. At a quarter past ten he goes to bed and sleeps; he knows that tomorrow is another busy day for him.
