Marcy's long tale

Even if we had often to move to a place to live to another,

we always spent summer holidays at my granny Lotty's, in

Kentucky. In this picture I was 11 and was together with my

brothers Trevor and Jonathan, my mother Sharon and my

father Sam: this is one of my favourite pictures also because

my grandmother, who is 83, still has it in her album.

Although I didn't have any idea of what I wanted to do in my life, during the performances at school I already showed talent. Here, for example, I was the leading actress of a comedy named The ladies of the hospice: I was a crazy lady who wore multi-colored dresses!

I don't want to appear presuming, but I still look the same,

don't you think? At that time I was 13 and I liked being photographed,

especially with this kind of pictures where you could see my long blond hair

my friends envied.

I remember to my relief the day I took this picture together with my dog Becky. After a very long year spent in Iran I nd my family had had to escape because of the revolution(when the shah' had been deposed ). Finally I had come back to my country, my home and my friends. But in the same time I took an important decision: leaving to New York to become a famous actress....

The black and white picture was taken when I proposed myself at the

soap opera  La valle dei pini  and I was immediately chosen to play

the role of Liza Colby. I can say I looked well with short hair.

As soon as I arrived at New York, before working in the soap operas I lived in a small residence called Catherine House, where there were about 80 girls. Here I am with two girlfriends, Martha and Brigitte, with whom I shot several Tv commercials and I earned my first money.

Here I am in my little room: it could look like a cell because it was so small, but it was really comfortable!
