Steam Locomotive  2-10-2  Class S1  Santa Fe

The prototype from which the Rivarossi model is based on, was built by the "Baldwin Locomotive Works" in 1926 for duties in the routes Cumberland, Pittsburg, New Castle and Toledo. The locomotives of this type initially managed to compete with the arrival of diesel units.
