Accident on the Via Emilia

Today traffic was blocked on the Via Emilia, at around 13.30 due to an incident that occurred between Villa Cadè and Calerno.
For cases under review by the Municipal Police and the police, two cars, a Seat Ibiza and an Alfa 156, coming from opposite directions collided. A violent impact which fortunately had no serious consequences for people.
On the spot reached by the fire brigade and two ambulances. Three people involved: two of them, a man of 47 years and a woman, both residing in the city, were taken by ambulance to Santa Maria Nuova hospital and subjected to clinical tests.
More minor injuries to the driver of Alfa, which has also refused transport to hospital. As we said, the incident has created quite a few effects on the movement, also because it occurred at a peak times.
Via Emilia, towards the Reggio Emilia center and towards Parma, has turned into a long line of trucks, cars and buses that brought home the students after school. It took more than an hour because the situation returned to normal.
Even yesterday evening, about 22, had two cars collided on the Via Emilia, but in Masone, with some delays to traffic and two people injured in a non-serious.
