Breve Descrizione: Pianta erbacea perenne strettamente legata alla famiglia delle Liliaceae. Il cespuglio che crea può raggiungere i 150cm di ampiezza. Le foglie sono lunghe 30/100 cm e larche 2/6 mm, di colore verde oliva e con margini dentati. I fiori sono leggermente profumati.

Durata: Perenne.

Periodo Di Fioritura: Tra primavere ed estate.

Clima: Temperato.

Uso: Utilizzata dai fioristi per composizioni floreali. Dura molto nel tempo ed è molto resistente. Il suo rizoma sopravvive anche al fuoco degli incendi.

Brief Description: It can grow to 15-150 cm in height and grows in bunches with the leaves wrapped around and extending from a small stem at ground level. The leaves are 30-100 cm long and 2-6 mm wide, dull olive green with toothed edges. The slightly fragrant white flowers emerge from a tall stalk that bolts from the base. When the flowers are in bloom they are tightly packed at the tip of the stalk like an upright club.

Duration: Perennial.

Flowering Period: Between spring and summer.

Area of Origin: America.

Climate: Temperate.

Use: Used by florists for flower arrangements. Very hard over time and is very durable. Its rhizome survives the fire of fires.
