Breve Descrizione: Conosciuta come la "pianta obbediente" per via dei suoi particolari fiori, che possono essere spostati in posizioni differenti senza che questi ritornino alla posizione originaria. E' una pianta perenne rizomatosa, con steli alti fino a 120cm. Hanno una sezione quadrata e i fiori tubulari si schiudono in successione sulle spighe che portano i boccioli. Ricordano molte le Bocche Di Leone e presentano toni rosa, malva o bianco (raro).

Durata: Perenne.

Periodo Di Fioritura: Fine estate.

Clima: Temperato.

Uso: E' considerata un' ottima pianta per aggiungere fiori e colore ai giardini sul finire dell'estate, quando la maggior parte delle piante hanno già esaurito la fioritura.

Brief Description: Physostegia are known commonly as obedient plants because a flower pushed to one side will often stay in that position. It is a rhizomatous perennial herb producing clumps of stiff, squared stems 2 to 4 feet tall. The leaves are lance-shaped and toothed. It has long, dense spikes of lipped, pinkish, "snapdragon-like" flowers in the summer.
