Euroflora - Fiori Recisi

Breve Descrizione: Pianta molto fiorita e bulbosa. La specie più diffusa è il Hyacinthus orientalis che compare in diverse varietà con fioriture di svariati colori: rosso, bianco, rosa, salmone, arancione, lilla e diverse tonalità di blù. I fiori si presentano in racemi lunghi anche 15 cm. e sono molto profumati. I singoli fiorellini hanno forma tubolare con apertura a stella, le foglie basali, di color verde brillante e nastriformi, si allungano lungo il più o meno sottile fusto fiorifero che ne è privo.

Uso: Di facile manutenzione e reperibilità il giancinto è coltivabile in esterno e in interno o industrialmente per la produzione forzata di piante fiorite per decorare gli appartamenti nella stagione invernale. L'essenza di giacinto viene inoltre utilizzata in profumeria.
