Nome Botanico: Bouvardia.

Breve Descrizione: Pianta arbustiva che può raggiungere il metro di altezza, con fusto legnoso e foglie verde lucido. I fiori, tubulosi, molto profumati, sono riuniti in ombrelle nella parte terminale dei rami e presentano delle tonalità di colori che vanno dal bianco al rosa al rosso.

Durata: Perenne.

Periodo Di Fioritura: Fioriscono da ottobre a dicembre.

Area Di Origine: Originaria dell'america centro-meridionale in particolare il Messico.

Clima: Temperato caldo.

Uso: Vengono utilizzate come piante ornamentali da tenere in vaso in casa. Da esporre su balconi e terrazzi nel periodo estivo e da tenere in ambiente chiuso, riscaldato, nel periodo freddo dell'anno.
