Breve Descrizione: Pianta erbacea con robusto rizoma coperto di fibre nere, fusti glabri, eretti, poco ramificati, altezza fino a 80 cm. Le foglie basali sono picciolate, la lamina è palmato-partita e divisa in 5 segmenti lanceolati e uniti alla base, lobati con margine dentato; le cauline sono generalmente 2, profondamente incise in segmenti cuneiformi dall’apice trilobato. L’infiorescenza è un’ombrella semplice larga 2-3 cm, con involucro di brattee bianco rosee, con 3-5 nervi longitudinali di colore verde, collegati fra loro da nervi a rete. I fiori peduncolati bianco-rosati, hanno petali curvi verso l’interno, e stami molto più lunghi; sono in parte maschili ed in parte ermafroditi. Il calice ha 5 dentelli acuminati, più lunghi dei petali. I frutti sono diacheni ovoidali, carenati.

Durata: Perenne.

Periodo Di Fioritura: Da maggio a settembre presenta piccoli fiori ermafroditi riuniti in ombrelle circondate da brattee, ossia, foglie che sembrano petali, bianchi o rosati e delle aconsistenza della pergamena.

Clima: Temperato.

Uso: Viene coltivata soprattutto per aiuole, bordure, giardini rocciosi ma anche come fiore reciso.

The basal leaves are petiolate, the lamina is webbed-match and divided into 5 segments lanceolate and joined at the base, lobed with toothed margins, the cauline generally 2, deeply cut into segments cuneiform apex trilobed. The inflorescence is simple umbel 2-3 cm wide, wrapped with white pink bracts, with 3-5 longitudinal nerves green, connected by nerves to the network. The flowers pedunculated white-pink, petals have curved inwards, and stamens much longer; are partly male and partly hermaphrodites. The calyx has 5 teeth acuminate, longer than the petals. The fruits are ovoid diacheni, carinated.

Duration: Perennial.

Flowering Period: From May to September has small umbels hermaphrodite flowers surrounded by bracts meeting, ie, leaves that seem to petals, white or pink and aconsistenza parchment.
