Periodo Di Fioritura: A seconda della specie dalla tarda primavera all’estate.

Area Di Origine: America meridionale, in particolare Perù e tutta la zona andina.

Uso: Le alstroemerie vengono coltivate su scala industriale per la raccolta del fiore reciso, ma rappresentano anche un buon motivo ornamentale per balconi e giardini.
