Skate tape width:

Procedure

  • The diameter-load conjunctive 1  is traced  
  • The point 1y-wear conjunctive 2  is traced  
  • The total path is determned: 400 runs/h x 1.25m/stroke x 5000 h= 2500Km  
  • From point 2500 Kms the conjunctive 3  is traced with point 3z until it finds Skate tape width = 14.8  
Max. load check (usually with the rod "fully out")

Procedure

  • The max load-diameter conjunctive 4  is subtended  
  • The feedthrough width of Skate point 4y is traced which will indicate a specific pressure of about 65 dN/cm2 which is allowed up to 80°C
The Wear could be double if  NEUFLON-032  is used. 
Corrective temperature factors: At 60°C the wear could be 25% higher than that indicated. 
A 90°C, 70% and at 120°C, 150% higher.
