Recent Services 9 August 2006 16:22 ILB At 16:22 Yarmouth Coastguard paged for the launch of the ILB for four children cut off by the incoming tide on Bob Hall's Sand following a report from the local Coastwatch Association
The children were attempting to cross the channel without assistance but were forced back by the depth of the channel and strong flood tide
The ILB crew were paged at 16:24 and the ILB arrived with the casualties at 16:32, returning the children to the station before returning for a further party of three, also cut off by the tide
At 07:34 YCG requested a launch to render assistance on the ebbing tide
23 July 2006 16:17 ILB Following the Station Open Day with crew present on the station, several people were seen and reported cut off by the tide
Before the ILB launched several members of the public were ferried across the channel by a private inflatable dinghy, leaving one person cut off by the tide on the East side of Wells Harbour, North of the Boat House
With the tide ebbing, the conditions were unsuitable to transfer the tow and Whitewater continued the tow into Blakeney Pit
