The Whole Nine Yards returns to those preoccupations via a hectically plotted script, rich in the bizarre but rigorous logic characteristic of the Cambridge University school of British comedy, and an oddly assorted ensemble cast

Well, so much for intuition, because I was expecting a Bomb from what I saw of The Whole Nine Yards in advance
Happily enough, The Whole Nine Yards is consistently funny in a lighthearted sort of way, but I especially liked how twisting and mysterious it was
The Whole Nine Yards is essentially an R-rated big-screen sit-com (which explains why it has to be a movie and not a TV show), so Matthew Perry fits in well as the excitable potential victim at every turn
