HOBBY WORK

About of HOBBY WORK

Hobby Circuits, The Hobby Corner, Imagineering On-line Magazine
Hundreds of useful, simple circuits; easy to build and easy to understand.

  • But, a very inexpensive and micro power technique can also work

  • A small 1.5v button battery will also work

  • I have not yet built and tested this circuit completely but in concept it should work

  • The circuit is completely passive and will work on dynamic and electret type microphones

  • (4) (inject01) When you need to measure resistance down to a few micro ohms, this circuit works great

  • The lamp starting method is a bit crude but the circuit does work

  • Using an unique inductive feedback network, the circuit provides high sensitivity under high ambient light conditions

  • It uses a tuned LC feedback network to provide high sensitivity while giving high ambient light immunity

  • (59) (40krvr2) This circuit uses a unique cascode amplifier circuit to convert the current from a PIN photo diode to a current without any feedback network

  • This could lead to a non working condition and your PC will give an error message like: “ Unknown device ”

  • I have build three circuits, two of those was working also if this bug was present, but one worked only after the bugfix so i think this will strongly depend on hardware configuration and components value change due to the tolerance

  • Please modify your circuit if it doesn't work and report let me know if after that it is working

  • I'm still working also on this bugfix

  • Now i'm working on the firmware to add buttons to allow moore interaction with flightsimulator simulator

  • In that case presumably all work will be done by vast, highly organized systems of machines and no human effort will be necessary

  • Due to improved techniques the elite will have greater control over the masses; and because human work will no longer be necessary the masses will be superfluous, a useless burden on the system

    Principal Components and Factor Analysis
Chapter from StatSoft's Electronic Statistics Textbook.

  • Suppose that in the satisfaction study introduced earlier we included 10 items to measure different aspects of satisfaction at home and at work

  • To illustrate how this can be accomplished, let us work "backwards, " that is, begin with a meaningful structure and then see how it is reflected in the results of a factor analysis

  • Let us return to our satisfaction example; shown below is the correlation matrix for items pertaining to satisfaction at work and items pertaining to satisfaction at home

  • STATISTICA FACTOR ANALYSIS Correlations (factor.sta) Casewise deletion of MD n=100 Variable WORK_1 WORK_2 WORK_3 HOME_1 HOME_2 HOME_3 WORK_1 WORK_2 WORK_3 HOME_1 HOME_2 HOME_3 1.00 .65 .65 .14 .15 .14 .65 1.00 .73 .14 .18 .24 .65 .73 1.00 .16 .24 .25 .14 .14 .16 1.00 .66 .59 .15 .18 .24 .66 1.00 .73 .14 .24 .25 .59 .73 1.00 The work satisfaction items are highly correlated amongst themselves, and the home satisfaction items are highly intercorrelated amongst themselves

  • The correlations across these two types of items (work satisfaction items with home satisfaction items) is comparatively small

  • It thus seems that there are two relatively independent factors reflected in the correlation matrix, one related to satisfaction at work, the other related to satisfaction at home

PC and Console to JAMMA Page
How to put PCs and Consoles into arcade cabinets.

  • A lot of games were being thrown in the 'not working' category due to a new flag in mame, the 'imperfect' flag

  • It's available in the download section! New games supported: Black Hole, Rescue, Longshot, Space Chaser, Azurian Attack, Future Spy (not working), Space Laser, Super Zaxxon (not working)

  • In keeping with the spirit of the Mame Project, we're leaving some of the non-working drivers in as well

  • ArcadeOS 2.47 Bug Fix Release .ArcadeOS updated to display correct ROM list for MAME 0.53 and up (still works for older versions) .ArcadeOS filters updated to work with MAME 0.53 and up (still works for older versions) .Default MAME executable name is now dmame.exe The reason I'm stressing the (still works for older versions of MAME) bit is that, as most of you have no doubt discovered, from MAME 0.53 onwards tweaked modes have been dropped Which basically means no more VGA arcade monitor modes in MAME Just to clear the air a bit, the decision on MAMEDEV was taken to simplify the core and because less and less games were fitting into 256 colours

  • Don't get me wrong - arcade emulation is a fascinating hobby and the work done on the likes of Retrocade, MAME, Callus, Raine etc
