I think it's causing permanent damage! The vast majority of Ritual's past games have been Quake / Radiant-based, so using the Unreal engine would, in fact, be a first for the Tribe
Though only Ritual's second 'real' project, the Quake III-powered FAKK2 remains some of the Tribe's best work to date and if you haven't played it yet, I strongly recommend tracking down a copy of the game and checking it out

There is nothing like listening to Ozzy crooning and a Tribe Called Quest blaring while you're busting out a huge trick combination! The sound effects on the other hand are relatively low and boil down to grinding sounds, cars honking and the grunt and groan of your rider smashing into the wall or ground when landing wrong! With the Play Station 2 version being chief among the versions because of an earlier release, you'll still find that the XBox and the Game Cube both do the game music and sound justice throughout Dave Mirra, simply because of the CD format that the games are printed on! As with the other version of the game, everything here is virtually unchanged in the audio department, and gamers on either system (XBox and Game Cube) will find that there is plenty for the ears to help guide them through the game with no problems

see past the tediousness of repeating the same tasks every day.
But being an official Nintendo-published game, this is irrelevant, because that special gameplay magic we're accustomed to is there, right? Right? The Facts 64DD game, revived for the GameCube Control either Doshin, the Love Giant, or Jashin, the Hate Giant Help the natives build villages and monuments Grow larger by absorbing the love or hate of the natives Take in-game pictures at any point and save them to your memory card Use your powers of raising and lowering the land to change the island's terrain Gameplay On the surface, Doshin the Giant seems rather simple; explore a randomly generated island as a comical looking yellow giant and help the native tribes build villages
Right off the bat, players will notice that there are four existing building sites on the island already, each with a differently colored tribe of natives: red, blue, green, and yellow
In order to see that every different type of monument is built, you must combine the architectural knowledge of the differently colored tribes
The first four monuments can be built in the four villages that exist from the start, by the individual tribes, but to build the rest, you must build new villages by bringing different tribe members together (this is done by carrying the natives)
