Alberto Cassani, 7 Marzo 2006: Discutibile Warner, 17 Marzo 2006 V per Vendetta di James McTeigue Tratto dallo straordinario fumetto disegnato da David Lloyd e scritto da Alan Moore (il cui nome però non compare nei titoli), "V per Vendetta" è anni luce distante dai precedenti film dei fratelli Wachowski, che ne sono gli autori pur lasciandone la regia al loro assistente McTeigue
Purtroppo, però, il V dei fratelli Wachowski ha perso completamente lo spirito anarchico che contraddistingueva il personaggio di Moore così come il vero Guy Fawkes: la sua non è più una lotta contro il Potere, la sua V non sta più per Verità, ma per Vendetta

Is the city of London about to become a war zone simply because V has a personal grudge? The serious tone 'Vendetta' takes encourages such moral nitpicking
