| Released to radio in January of
2001, Walk On was only commercially released at that time in
Canada. It was released as a promotional video in the US. In
Europe, Australia, and Japan, Stuck
in a Moment was released at this time instead. The
b-sides of the singles for Walk On in Canada and the b-sides for
the singles for this release of Stuck
in a Moment were the same.
The release of this single in North America
was timed to coincide with U2's wins at the 2001 Grammy Awards
for the single Beautiful Day.
In the Fall of 2001, Stuck
in a Moment / Walk On were
released in the opposite countries from the Spring release.
These singles featured similar covers to the Spring releases but
different b-sides, including a couple of reworked versions of
Walk On different again from the edit version found on these
singles.
Walk On was the song used to close concerts
on 2001's Elevation tour. U2 also performed the song on the
"America: A Tribute to Heroes" television broadcast,
and it was released on the accompanying CD release.
