OTHER NOTES
Mysterious Ways followed the Fly as the second single off of Achtung Baby, released one week after the album itself was released.  The Fly had taken the college radio stations by storm, it was so different and although it had success there, it was having trouble gaining airplay on more commercial radio stations. The second single quickly found itself rising in the charts on these stations where the Fly had difficulty.

Mysterious Ways has become a staple song of the band's live performances since it's release.  Unfortunately it did not make the cut for the fan club Hasta La Vista Baby live CD, even though it had been performed at that concert. It also found itself on the cutting floor when the Elevation Live in Boston DVD was released, again despite it being played that evening.
