Comments:
This CD is referenced as the concert in Verona on July 3, 1993, but
is the final concert from The Zooropa Tour from Dublin, Ireland. This is the
show that had been broadcasted on the radio. It was a very emotional concert, as
we can hear in many songs. "One" was dedicated to the people of
Bosnia. In "Trying To Throw Your Arms Around The World", Bono calls
Naomi Campbell to the stage to take the Handicam. "Bad" was dedicated
to Michael Jackson and "Satellite of Love" to all the "Zoo Crew."
Before "Help" and "Ultraviolet (Light My Way)", Mac Phisto
places a phone call to the "United Nations". I think Track 13 of Disc
1 and Track 12 of Disc 2 were recorded in Verona, as the title suggests.
Excellent recording! Larry sings on "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking
For"! Buy it immediately if you come across it!
