   NORH RACE                     GENERAL                       RH RACE

30 Sep 22.00 - Penultimate race, unbroken risk, looking for strong hearts!

A track not properly difficult, without real critical points… A not very used car but quite easy to drive… What does it mean all this? RISK! Yes, the risk will be the real main element of this race, the ninth race of the season, the penultimate one! From the beginning to the end, drivers will have to push their Coronet Pulsar as fast as they are able to drive it, making no so many calculations during the race if they will want to put their wheels ahead their opponents. Anyway, here it is some info about the track. Fast beginning and maximum speed (200 mph) reachable after only 10-15 seconds before to an exciting blind jump. First reduction of speed (important but not dramatic) correspondently to a decided change of direction before to fly (real flight…) into the second section of race. Again high speed (not very easy to keep for 2 obligatory cuts that will lead drivers to put their wheels on the grass) before the 2nd drastic (a bit more than previous) change of speed correspondently to a brutal dirt chicane placed between a tunnel and bank-road. Third and last fast tract where drivers will have to avail some cuts and bank-road to reach and keep a very high speed (it will be easy, no fear) before to arrive at the final. A not very quiet final, characterized from a brutal brake (that driver will have to begin just after to have left a loop/ramp needful to jump over a little “lake”) and a brutal turn (more than 90°) on the right to insert the car in a more elevated small straight (not completely flat…) before the finish line… So, we all will see who will be able to drive his Coronet Pulsar STi-R risking continuously for about 80”: looking for strong hearts… ;)

30 Sep 22.00 - Funny race! But "funny" doesn't mean "easy"...

Nice and funny race: this is the best way to describe the penultimate race of the season! Aboard your Coronet Pulsar STì-R, a car not very much used but quite easy to drive, drivers will have to race on a track with unusual ways to choose as it's wonted in SDR. Start and immediately a triple choice for everyone: believe me, it won't easy understanding very soon the fastest... Anyway, the three ways will become again only one very soon, just before to approach the 2nd section of the race. In this part drivers will have to cross (ortogonally...) a loop before to avoidi, as smart as possible..., the subsequent up/down corkscrew... Very tight hairpin (Cut or not to cut? This is the question...) and then 3rd section. A long, but not very quiet, straight tract where drivers will have to steer and jump almost at maximum speed (200-210 mph?) between ramps, hills and left/right corkscrews. An then the final, where it will be quite difficult to guess the right way to approach it, cause a tunnel just in a bad place... Some trials to test the track made 10 days ago seem to indicate a race about 70"-80" long, but... as usual, let's see! Sure it will be a funny race, but... we have to mind that there's still so much at stake for some drivers and the maximum engagement will be necessary to put own wheels ahead the others. Remember, "funny" doesn't mean "easy"...

28 Sep 23.10 - Chulk the "Magic" triumphs: watching for a wonderful final!

Third victory in this season for Chulk, 1st on Caliber with a great performance!! Smashing the 70” barrier (1’09”30!), the argentinian champion made a great race on a track that appeared more easy than it resulted after racing on it. Chulk has preceded his eternal opponent, Mark L. Rivers, leaving him quite far (1”40 his gap) thanks also to a crazy final as we are going to talk after. Third is Duplode, with a race that is only a bad shadow (over 5” his gap from Chulk) compared with the marvelous first place got in last race, “Gate”. But the reason is only a very short time to race for the brazilian ace, and we are absolutely sure that he will write again wonderful pages in last two race of this more and more dazzling season. Fourth place for Krys TOFF, who didn’t race after 1st checkpoint. Sure no time to race for him too, really a pity because he could say much in this race.

But now, please, check the replays and the analysis because it’s a race to live in every section! Chulk starts with a great “magic” after 10”: jump on the left of the bridge, wonderful sliding control and perfect land on the track just before the downhill (remember, it’s a NORH race…). The result at 1st intermediate? Ninety centiseconds on Mark L. Rivers, 1”05 on Duplode and almost 2” on Krys TOFF who chose the same way of Chulk (very good intuition) but not with the same efficacy landing on the grass. In 2nd section it begins the rescue of Mark L. Rivers. The Italian driver cuts in a very special way the hairpin succeeding not to take the penalty: strong speed lost but good choice because at 2nd intermediate he rescues 0”50 to Chulk. Instead, bad slow curve for Duplode and Krys TOFF just after the not connected ramps, very strong speed lost inserting in the highway that lead at the tunnel: the gap from Chulk becomes over 2” for Duplode and over 4” for Krys TOFF. Fastest third section again for Mark L. Rivers: keeping a higher speed than Chulk (who transits on 2nd intermediate putting his right wheels on the grass), and guessing a fantastic slow curve just behind the hill, the Italian driver rescues again 0”50 and at the 3rd intermediate he’s first for 0”10! Personal best section for Duplode who contains his gap from leading time within 3”, while Krys TOFF cedes remarkably even if we have to mind that we are talking about his first trial realized almost 20 days ago. In last section Mark L. Rivers increases again his vantage arriving to the last 180° with 0”35 on Chulk, but… here it’s the 2nd Chulk’s magic: exaggerate slide, car completely out of control, finish lane cut sliding, and fantastic 1’09”30! Mark L. Rivers concludes with a good but quite normal slide, loosing about 2” in last 10” (ways without slide for Duplode and Krys TOFF and gap unavoidably increased). So? Did Chulk win fortunately? Absolutely no. Because if you would check his video, you could see that when he realized his magic time, on Stunts scoreboard there was already a 1’10”65, enough to win. So really congratulations to him for his deserved victory!

Thanks to this win and also to 0,5 bonus points got more than Mark, Chulk reduces in an interesting way the distance in the championship: only 7,5 points to rescue in last 2 races! If he will win both race and Mark will arrive at least one time third this would mean for Chulk 8 points more than Mark. Bonus points will result probably determinant for the win and maybe we’ll see very fast times (but not too much…) since 1st checkpoint. But other opponents could affect the results too. So… a “dramatic” and dazzling final for the title! About third final place, instead, it appears less difficult for Krys TOFF to defend his current third place in classification, even if 8,5 points are not so much, especially if Duplode will catch many bonus points. Let’s see!

In the night between September and October will begin the penultimate race of this season and drivers will have to jump aboard a car never used before in SDR. Shakes? No fear, it’s quite easy to drive and, above all, suitable for the track built about 2 weeks ago. So… we have to wait only 50 hours to see one more time the great show called NORH race!

28 Sep 23.10 - The strong rescuing proceeds: Chulk king of Cuts-land!

Again Chulk, again a shocking time!!! Disconcerting all again, the argentinian ace wins is 2nd consecutive race with a superb performance (1’02”70, fastest 2nd, 3rd and 4th sections with abyssal gap in the 2nd one), leaving all his opponents so far: Mark L. Rivers (fastest 1st section) improves a lot his previous time (about 4”50), but is 2nd at over 3”, AbuRaf70 (3rd podium in this season, 2 in a row and 2nd time in third section) is third with a heavy gap (over 5”) preceding again Duplode (4th at the end after the 3rd provisional place at 1st and 2nd intermediate) for less than a second. Fifth place for SuperBrian with a good 1st section (4th time) even if he chose a bad way as we talk after. The danish driver improves his time and succeeds to arrive just ahead (0”10) his teammate Krys TOFF (6th) who didn’t race after 2nd Checkpoint. Close a very good Sergio Baro who improved again a lot his time arriving very near to the group (only 3” his gap from 5th place).

And now some highlights after watching the replays and seeing the analysis. It appears very clear how the ramp placed at the beginning of the track was not a good choice. Who chose it is arrived at 1st intermediate about 1” later than who avoided it. Absolutely fantastic job for Chulk crossing the 2nd intermediate: he chose a direct line cutting in an extraordinary way the hill and keeping a very high speed. Did he broke before the L/R corkscrew placed just after the intermediate? Absolutely no! He has succeeded to pass outside (right, top, left) in a very weird mode increasing again his speed: really fantastic! And finally, great rescue for AbuRaf70, only 5th at 1st intermediate with a gap higher than 1” from Duplode!

What about the championship? Maybe it’s too late for Chulk even if rescuing 13 points in last 2 races it’s not impossible. If Chulk wins twice and Mark gets “only” the 3rd place in both races (in this season he arrived even 4th in a Indy race, that is “Geometry”), with some bonus points he can catch the title. Same arguments for the third final place with Krys TOFF who has to rescue 12,5 points on AbuRaf70 who has improved his vantage in this race for other 5 points.

And now we are projected in the penultimate race. It will start next 1st October with a funny track and a funny car, so… stay with us!

23 Sep 14.30 - 4 thrilling days before the end...

Only a man on the track for this Checkpoint, he's the current leader who improves his leading time until 1'11"05. The fear to let to Chulk the possibility to get other bonus points, pushed Mark L. Rivers to improve his leading time. The italian driver thought (and think) that the argentinian champion is able to make a time 3% lower than his time realized for Checkpoint 2, and this would have meant that he could get a whole bonus point so important for the season. Instead, maybe Chulk thought that he and his main opponent were not able to lower their times over 3% and so he has not discovered his cards choosing to give all for the finish. But what about Duplode? Is he searching the surprise-effect too? Or is it not time to race? And what about Krys TOFF? Will we see the great performance that he's able to make? Whatever answers we can now imagine, a thing it's sure: next 4 days (remember, only 4 days for the deadline, that is 27 September at 23:59:59 !) will be a long thrilling... Yes, the final result of this race is very, very important for all in order of the championship. Are we able to see in our mind the drivers engaged with their Jaguar on their PC in next 4 days...? ;)

23 Sep 14.30 - A monster-Chulk ahead all, SuperBrian included!

Absolutely unbelievable time for Chulk!! The argentinian ace put all opponents behind him reaching a unimaginable time until here: 1'06"30 !! Only a great AbuRaf70 (again marvellous performances for him!) tries to remain on the wash of his teammate containing the gap under 2" (1'08"10): Krys TOFF (no improvements for him and 4th place confirmed) is more and more advised about what the inoxidable argentinian is aiming for the season... Third is Mark L. Rivers who overleaped previous leading time but loosing a position. But now, another important news: Superbrian comes back to race at SDR (welcome back!) after a quite long pause (last race: "X-change" - 27 May 2007) with a good outset that lead him at 5th place just ahead Duplode, who didn't improve his time. Finally, last provisional place for a good Sergio Baro: the argentinian driver improves a lot and now he's quite near to the group. And now, final rush! Remember, only 4 days for the deadline, that is 27 September at 23:59:59: will we have any important answers before last chapters of this season, above all if MeganiuM's teamwork will succeed to make electrical the last races? Let's see!

16 Sep 15.30 - Mark L. Rivers defeats Chulk's attack!

Strong performance by Mark L. Rivers who succeeds to defeat a very dangerous attack in general classification! After his very fast time at Chechpoint 1, it was easy to think that Chulk would have to try to catch other 2 bonus points at 2nd Checkpoint. This would have permitted him to try to rescue many points in the championship if he will succeed to win. Effectively Chulk has lowered over 3% his previous time (exactly -3,59%) but Mark L. Rivers succeeded to be faster, even if only lightly (0"75) than the argentinian champion! Anyway, Chulk mantains a light vantage about bonus points (1,5 against 1,0 catched by the italian driver) and a eventual victory of Chulk would permit him to rescue at least 3,5 points. We say at least because there's another CP (that is other bonus points at stake) and there are other two opponents who are fighting for the 3rd place in general classification and who could place them between Chulk and Mark L. Rivers. So... great wait for CP3, and sure great battle on the track!

16 Sep 15.30 - Shocking perfomance by AbuRaf70, 1st with no opponents!!

Shocking performance by AbuRaf70 who leaves very far all his opponents!! Yes, marvellous progression by the argentinian driver who improves step by step his time lowering it remarkably until to smash decidedly the 70" barrier! Second place for Chulk but over 2"50 divide the two argentinians. Even 3" between AbuRaf70 and Mark L. Rivers, 3rd. Forth is Krys Toff (outset for him) one second slower than the italian driver, then Duplode (5th) who improves his time over 3% and Sergio Baro (6th), without improvements. So AbuRaf70 really seems to be intentioned to defend his 3rd place in general classification defeating the probable attack by Krys TOFF. Anyway we think that, after this great result, the argentinian driver will aim very high, trying to catch his 2nd victory. But he's not the only argentinian who can aim high in this race. Chulk too could try to avail the performance of his teammate rescuing many points on current leader in general classification. A great teamwork by MeganiuM Aces High could really re-open the championship! Let's see what it will happen at CP3!

09 Sep 18.30 - Chulk, a "war" declaration for race and title!

Reaching a very fast time at CP1, Chulk doesn't hide his clear goal: 1) victory in this race catching more Bonus Points he can, and 2) reducing a lot his gap in general classification from Mark L. Rivers, maybe availing the result of Duplode! Yes the 1'15"30 reached very soon from the argentinian champion seems really a "war" declaration compared with other results: Duplode is 2nd at almost 2", Mark L. Rivers is 3rd just 0"05 behind the brazilian ace (very important 0,5 bonus points lost by the italian driver, again bad strategy for him...) and Krys TOFF is 4th with about 5" to rescue. What will we see at next CP? Sure the possibility for Chulk to get other 2 bonus points leads him to push very hard, but if he will reach very soon a very low time, this could impede him to catch other bonus points at CP3. Anyway his principal opponent, won't have to make many calculations: he will have to push very hard too to limit the strong rescue that Chulk probably will make at the end of the race. Duplode's results could easily affect the challenge for the title, and this sure will make this race more and more exciting CP after CP! And we are quite sure we'll see  this time a very good performance from Krys TOFF too! See you next Sunday!

09 Sep 18.30 - 4 drivers are trying to cut a track as they never did before!

After 9 days of race, 4 drivers have tried what really means the term "cut" in a Stunts race! Actually Mark L. Rivers leads with 1'15"30 (a whole bonus point) on a concentrated AbuRaf70, who lowered his time learning to use day by day all shortcuts included in the track arriving at almost 2" from the italian. The very motivated argentinian (0,5 bonus points for him) precedes Duplode for only 0"05 and it seems we'll see a big fight between them after the result of last race where the brazilian lost the podium just behind AbuRaf70! But we are very happy to greet again Sergio Baro, 4th with 1'24"80, having chose to race for the 2nd time in SDR! Still absent Chulk, main opponent of the leader in the season, and Krys TOFF, but we are absolutely sure we'll see him very soon. Even because the french driver is engaged for the final podium: thanks to the result of last race, AbuRaf70 has came back to a solitary 3rd place in general classification, leaving Krys 4 points lower. Will we see a reaction from the France? We think it will be a battle until the end! See you next checkpoint!

31 Aug 21.10 - Gentlemen, start your engines...

... and remember: almost 9 whole days at first CP!

31 Aug 21.10 - Gentlemen, start your engines...

... and remember: almost 9 whole days at first CP!

30 Aug 08.00 - Helmet, gloves and... CALIBER!

What kind of race will it be the 8th race of the season? Well, it will be a quite selective race, where drivers will have to calibrate their brakes, gas, steering in many tracts of the track to reach a very good performance. If you want to know why, please read the following description of the track. After the first 10” (made not very easy from a strong brake that driver will have to begin in the last part of a jump approached in 4th gear), the first part of the track is very fluent, permitting to lead the car until almost the reachable maximum speed just before to encounter a crucial hairpin that drivers will have to approach very carefully. If they will try to cut it, maybe their speed will decrease too much and it couldn’t be enough to overtake the subsequent jump composed by two ramps not connected by a bridge element... (No fear, it won’t be a tract that will lead to stop frequently the race… obviously if you won’t cut too much the previous hairpin!). After the jump, a slow curve (not very slow if you will cut it…) introduces in the central part of the track, very fluent and speed (be very careful passing in the tunnel in 4th gear between two fast chicanes!), where drivers can reach the maximum speed before to reduce drastically it (after a low take-off) to succeed to insert their car (trying not to lose too much speed) in the uphill tract that lead at the final part. Again a strong speed increasing but not like previous, because drivers will have to approach the last crucial tract, a quite large 180° placed just before the finish. Will it be easy? Well, a quick downhill-uphill tract just before to invert the direction of your Jaguar XJR9 won’t make the things so easy… Don’t you believe it? Then you will have only to do a lap on the track, beginning from the 1st September*!

* Exceptionally, 1st CP won't be the 1st Sunday but the 2nd one and deadline won't be last Sunday of the month but Thursday the 27th September at 23:59.

30 Aug 08.00 - R8: the challenge goes on in the shortcut paradise!

The most selective and hardest SDR race of all times: this is the right way to describe “CUTS”, the challenge that will see engaged the RH drivers and their Jaguar XJR9 beginning from the 1st September*! Since the firsts races, all Stunts drivers have sure found a special satisfaction availing all possible shortcuts offered by the tracks (except IRC rules fans, sure…;-)), researching their best performance. As its name can suggest, CUTS can be defined the “paradise” for all love the shortcuts, a special track where the shortcut-guide has lead to an extreme experience. But the track includes normal tracts too where drivers will have to push their car at maximum speed. Anyway, if drivers will avail all possible shortcuts, they will transit only on 33 Stunts elements of the 58 that form the conventional track. A madness track? Too weird to be really appreciated as a real Stunts challenge? Well, CUTS is sure an original track. But we invite all to try it before to express any thoughts. We’re quite sure that many drivers will be captured from the atypical way they will have to approach some “normal” tracts. We hope that all active top drivers (and inactive top drivers too, sure!) will want to take part at this very hard and selective race making a great Stunts show, that’s so important in this particular season. We think that CUTS really can aid to re-discover the taste of the challenge, a taste that has aroused memorable moments in Stunts history! Come on Stunts drivers! Take out your Jaguar from your boxes, jump on board and try one more time the great emotions that only this great neverending game is able to gift us!

* Exceptionally, 1st CP won't be the 1st Sunday but the 2nd one and deadline won't be last Sunday of the month but Thursday the 27th September at 23:59.

26 Aug 15.45 - First thunderous, fantastic, incredible win for Duplode!!!!!

When you'll see the replay of the winner, you'll know that he maybe comes from another planet. You'll conclude having never seen a NORH race so perfect, so similar to a high quality RH race. Yes, Duplode conquers his first victory in a NORH race with a performance absolutely thunderous, fantastic, incredible!!! The brazilian ace results the fastest in every section giving abyssal gaps to the other known specialist. Mark L. Rivers is 2nd at 2"90, Chulk is 3rd (no improvement in last week) at 3"85 and Krys TOFF is 4th at 8"95: what can we say more than this? But let's consider some data analizying the races. Mark L. Rivers succeed to limit the damage in section 1 (+ 0"05) and section 3 (+ 0"20) but he can nothing in section 2 (+ 1"75, really awful) and section 4 (+ 0"90). About Chulk, he cedes 0"55, 0"80 and 0"65 in first three section, but then he loses a lot in section 4 (+ 1"75). Difficult race, instead, for Krys TOFF as we had said, having raced only in last week with a absolutely new car. Yes, the car, Speedgate XSD, was new and this introduced more variables than previous race, but this can't absolutely reduce the monstruos performance of Duplode. Adjusting his guide to the new car more than other specialist, he has demonstrated one more time to be really a great NORH driver! About the general classification, the result of the race complicates the rescue of Chulk on Mark L. Rivers. The gap of the argentinian champion (very strange his absence in last week) is now rised at 11 points when only three races divide all to the finish. But, it was unthinkabe until here, there's another rescue that could happen: only 9 points divide now Duplode from Krys TOFF for the final podium. This means tha the french driver will have to race very hard in last three race to contain the new brazlian star. Let's see! The appointement is for the 1st September and we have to use the Jaguar XJR9!

26 Aug 15.45 - Chulk, a rocket with Speegate XSD! Championship re-open?

After hiding very well his potential previously, Chulk re-appears in last week with an absolutely fantastic time: 1'14"15!! Domaining very well the new car, Speedgate XSD, the argentinian champion shows all his high skill inflicting heavy gaps to the other driver. Behind him, in fact, we find Mark L. Rivers but at almost 3", succeeding to be faster than Chulk only in section 4 (+ 0"95)! Then, very near to the championship leader, AbuRaf70 and Duplode, with the argentinian who conquers a great podium (fastest time in section 2 failing only for 0"25 the 2nd place) just ahead the brazilian (fastest 1st section and only 0"15 from AbuRaf70)! Fifth is Krys TOFF, sure penalized having raced only in last week with the new car, not very much to discover all its potential. Coming back to the victory in a official race after 5 months (SDR - Fluency - 25 Mar 2007), Chulk tries to re-open the championship. He has rescued 2,5 points reducing the gap at 16,5 points. MarK L. Rivers can thanks to be resulted just faster than the 3rd and the 4th classified, because this would have meant to lose other 4 points, a result that would have given more hope to Chulk. But there are still three races to the end, and availing the Bonus Points and the placements of other drivers, it could be possible for the argentinian to rescue about 5,5 points for race. As this race as shows, current leader can't race very quietly last races. By the way, next race will start the 1sy September and driver will have to drive the Jaguar XJR9. Soon a short description of the track! Stay with us!

19 Aug 14.45 - The most strong reply we could have by Chulk!!!

If someone could have doubts about Chulk's desire to win this race and the title will have a bad awaking: with the most reply he could give all, the argentinian champion shows all his immense skill ans his passion for NORH specialty reaching an unimaginable time, 1'18"10... really prodigious, no other words!!! Chulk's race (which gives him a whole bonus point) totally debunks new time of Mark L. rivers (2nd with 1'20"95, 0,5 bonus point), almost 2" lower than previous leading time but almost 3" from Chulk. But sure who receives a real anticlimax is Duplode. Even if he has reduced his previous time (-0"70) reaching a good 1'22"00, he loses the lead, mantained since the beginning, falling at 4" from the vertex. A shocking CP for the brazilian driver who had showed his big talent in previous races. What can be happened? Skill crashing? Impossible, it's clear. No time to race? Difficult, his great passion always permits him to race at high level. So? Well, maybe he has only to retrace his race trying to understand where he can find the seconds missing... And we are quite sure that at the finish we will find all three drivers more near than they are now... ;) Waiting the outset by Krys TOFF about Gate and Speedgate XSD, we can prepare us for the big final of this wonderful race: stay with us!

19 Aug 14.45 - Leader changes again: Duplode comes back on tallest step!

Duplode comes back to the lead with a very fast time: 1'18"90! Availing the absence of the previous leader (Maybe did Mark L. Rivers think to be sure to lead again with his time?) the brazilian driver goes down under 1'19" making a new change of first line of the scoreboard. About other drivers, only AbuRaf70 on the track, but his performances are relevant because, with his usual little steps, he has by now reached his teammate Chulk, who confirms anyway the 3rd place. A week to the end and important questions still have to be find a response: who will be able to win this race? And who will try to make difficult the path of current leader towards the title? Seeing SDR NORH race, it seems that Chulk and Duplode have a particular feeling with Speedgate XSD and if they want can win the race. Sure Krys TOFF too (btw, we're waiting for his outset!), but only a week on board at the new car could be not enough to avail it as I can do. About the title, we hope we can see again a real fight for the final victory or at least for the final podium. Let's see if passion will be able to overtake all the obstacles to make a big show, so important for Stunts world racing!

12 Aug 19.00 - Uncontainable Duplode!!

Duplode can't contain is passion with his Speedgate XSD establishing a new thunderous limit: 1'22"70!! The brazilian driver (can we said now a "NORH specialist"? Sure!!) continues to lead strongly the race at CP2, and lowering his previous time over 3%, he conquers other 2 Bonus Points, reaching a very high  provisional score: 18 points! And now the first win for him appears just behind the corner, fantastic for this great "newbie"! Behind him we find Mark L. Rivers (gap 1"65) who lowers his time over 3% too, getting other 0,5 bonus point. And then Chulk, 3rd, almost 3" his gap from Duplode. But it's not the provisional position or the gap the most important consideration to do about him. It's his improvement percentage to talk more than other: -2,96%. It's new time would be the first without other improvements, but not lowering over 3% his previous time, he wouldn't have bonus point anyway. What can this mean? Maybe is his motivation decreased? Is he desisting to try to win his 2nd NORH title? Or is it only no time to race? While we're waiting the 3rd CP to know the time that the new star, Duplode, will be able to reach, these are very interesting questions that must have a reply... Stay with us!

12 Aug 19.00 - The championship leader is back!

After a first snoozing week, the leader of the championship comes back with a very strong time: 1'19"35! Reaching a time exactly 10" less than previous, Mark L. Rivers jumps at the vertex of the provisional classification, preceding Duplode, Chulk and AbuRaf70, getting also a whole bonus point. All drivers lowered his previous times over 3% (AbuRaf70 over 7%, very good) and this means that they are taking confidence with the new Speedgate XSD, maybe also  discovering better what the track, Gate, permit them. For only 0"50 Duplode succeeds to get other 0,5 bonus point instead Chulk and this limits a bit the possibility for the argentinian driver to reduce consistently the gap in the general classification where, we remind, nothing is sure yet about the title. What will we see next week? 3rd Checkpoint will tell more about who will be determined to win this race and particulary if Chulk is intentioned to make difficult the path of current leader towards the title. Also we will know if Speedgate XSD will remain a quite known object only for these drivers ot not. This could make a real difference when it will be used in a next race. See you next Sunday, for the last bonus points at stake!

11 Aug 11.40 - Update is expected for Sunday in the evening (GMT+1)

11 Aug 11.40 - Update is expected for Sunday in the evening (GMT+1)

05 Aug 14.10 - A Super-Duplode is towering the race at CP1!

Masterful race for Duplode who realizes a thunderous time, assigning heavy gaps to the other drivers! The brazilian conquers authoritatively the first provisional place at Cp1 driving as a lightning his Speedgate XSD, a car wherewith he seems to have found yet the right feeling! Behind him we find Mark L. RIvers (2nd) and Chulk (3rd), as usual very near each other but this time with a gap around 2" from the vertex. Sure Duplode has not make too much counts, and maybe it could be difficult for him to conquers many other bonus points, but we can be sure that he will push hard again his right pedal next week and it won't be easy for the others stay ahead him, even if there's a general classification that demands a big engagement for Chulk and Mark. Speedgate XSD and current track seem to confirm that this race will arouse very strong "Emotions", isn't it?

05 Aug 14.10 - Fastest lap for a determined and strong Duplode!

It's sure: Duplode likes very much the new Speedgate XSD, and he doesn't make something to hide it! He pushed hard is car at CP1, leading the race with 1" on Chulk, 3"50 on Mark L. Rivers and 7"50 AbuRaf70. After taking a pause in last race (Drive), the brazilian driver comes back on RH track realizing a fantastic performance, without thinking at the strategy. And this wants to say only a thing: the new car lead him to express all his passion for the speed, racing with an unusual hotblood, true sap for a driver. Great. But even Chulk made a fast performance, sign that he feels the right sensation with Speedgate XSD. The championship is not closed yet for him and he can make a dazzling rescue to win the title. Ahead them, a quite lazy Mark L. Rivers, who sure will try to make a more consistent lap in order to CP2, and AbuRaf70 that, overtaking again serious problem at PC, is intentioned to approach quite soon the group ahead him. Will we find next week other drivers who will want to passed trought the door that leads a new kind of speed? We hope it, above all for them!

01 Aug 07.45 - Stunts validation track blocked race, but now it's OK

A little element not included in conventional track determined a block loading GATE in Stunts. It has been removed and now you can download and load the track without problem. Sorry for the trouble!

31 Jul 22.30 - Strong emotions with a new unexplored creature...

Sure every NORH race arouses strong emotions in all drivers. So, why this track has been called “Emotions”, what’s the difference? Well, this race will be special because drivers will have to race with a new, absolutely new car, never used before in a official race: we are talking about SPEEDGATE XSD, the new Stunts car developed in SDR laboratories. This car is really able to arouse great emotions for its speed, acceleration, grip and an engine with a torque very similar to a real car, characteristics that are what a NORH driver needs to exalt his passion. Moreover, being the first race with this car, there will be a particular curiosity to find its limit, never explored before. It will be very exciting to drive some known tracts (small and large curves, fast chicane, up/down corkscrew) with an unconventional speed, higher than normal thanks to an higher (but not infinite…) grip. What about the track? Sure very suitable to appreciate the features of the new car: fast (but not straight) tracts where to avail the high grip until the limit (but not over…), an up/down corkscrew where you can finally feel the sensation to drive your car (and not to be lead by it…), a dazzling shortcut where you will have to fly very high and a not very fast final tract, quite easy if you won’t risk too much. But… will you really able not to risk…? The doors of the speed and the emotions have just been opened: will you pass through them?

31 Jul 22.20 - A door that leads to a new kind of speed...

It’s sure exciting to pass through a door that leads to an unexplored place. And this it’s what you’ll do racing the first official race with the last Stunts car born: SPEEDGATE XSD, developed in SDR laboratories. What will you find after the door? A new kind of speed. Until here, all Stunts drivers could use some fast cars, original and cheated. But none of them is able to permit to drive at high speed in a similar way you could do with a real car. Powergear is a wonderful Stunts bug, and sure all Stunts drivers love it. But, from the other side, it makes the cars very unreal, unsuitable to arouse the unique sensations you can feel driving at high speed. SPEEDGATE XSD will permit to drive at very high speed (until 245 mph availing the jumps) without Powergear, and you will have to manage it having to avoid to leave the track helped only by an high grip and very strong brakes. So you are now able to drive some known tracts (small and large curves, fast chicane, up/down corkscrew) with an unconventional speed, higher than normal thanks to a power engine (almost like Indy) and a high (even if not infinite…) grip. Moreover, a torque more similar to a real engine will engage the drivers to find the right moment to change their gears (not simply waiting the “red zone”) so to avail the maximum possible acceleration. And the track where you will have to race, GATE, is what drivers need to test all new features. The door that leads to the real speed guide has just been opened : pass through it and drive as you never did before…

29 Jul 17.45 - Mark L. Rivers wins the more tight NORH race!

Three drivers in 0"30: never see before!! Yes, exciting final for the 6th race of the season won by Mark L. Rivers: in last hours Duplode skims again his first win stopping the chronometer at 1'20"20, 0"20 from the 2nd place conquered by Chulk (no improvements for him in last week), and only 0"30 from Mark (no improvements for him too)! One more time Krys TOFF has been penalized from not enough time to race. But his time could be very near to the podium without a very big mistake (at least 7" lost) at the end of Powergear tract. Checking the analisys, we can see a strong Duplode in first half of race (fastest 1st and 2 section), leading at 2nd intermediate with 1" on Chulk and 1"20 on Mark. But the italian, after a very low start, changes gear and makes a 2nd part of race really fast, above all in last section. Chulk loss the race in 2nd section (maybe changing to the 5th gear too much early) and Duplode loss the race not in 4th section as I thought (even if he made a little error between bank-road and last tunnel) but in section 3, choosing a too much prudent line without cut towards the water. And now in the championship the vantage of the leader rises at 8,5 points. They are not still so much, but now Chulk have to react. Will be the new SPEEDGATE XSD his revenge-tool? We'll know it beginning from next 1st Aug!

29 Jul 17.45 - Third race in a row for Mark L. Rivers in a semi-waste race

Third consecutive race for Mark L. Rivers by now launched towards the title. In the race that has seen the lowest number of drivers in SDR RH contest (only four) the italian driver succeed to drive very fast his Indy through the difficult and selective track, preceding Krys TOFF (2nd), Chulk (3rd) and AbuRaf70 (4th). Only 4 drivers, it's true, but the race has been real, as you can see from the analisys.   Mark drive his Indy like a rocket in 1st and 2nd section arriving at 2nd intermediate with a large vantage: +7"55 on Krys, +7"80 on Chulk and + 9"50 on AbuRaf70? How does he succeed? Checking the replays you can see the different choices of race in 1st and 2nd sections. Third section is quite similar for all (except for Krys who lost 1") with a great time for AbuRaf70, 1st time for him ex aequo with the winner! But in last section the things are not the same: Krys makes a fantastic choice of race rescuing almost 4" on the italian driver, re-overtaking Chulk and arriving 2nd! Really a true race, simply a pity only 4 drivers decided to race it. Closed games for the title? Difficult to say. Meanwhile we have a great race ahead us! The 1st August will begin a new Stunts story: SPEEDGATE XSD, the new car developed in SDR laboratories, enters in Stunts racing world! Enjoy with it!

24 Jul 16.45 - So many interrogatives before a "question mark" race!

No drivers on the track in last 10 days. Too much Stunts events in this period and it's difficult to find the time to make a serious trial in a NORH race. But now we are going towards the last 5 days of race! Will we see a consistent improvement of Krys TOFF catching a new podium? Will Duplode succeed to make another great performance, maibe winning his first NORH race? And what about the challenge for the championship? Will Chulk come back to the victory reducing his gap from Mark L. Rivers? How will be the classification before next race? So many interrogatives, not forgetting that next race will be really a question mark, having to use the last born Stunts car: Speedgate XSD...

24 Jul 16.45 - Only AbuRaf70 keeps hot his engine before last 5 days

AbuRaf70 keeps hot his engine in last 10 days. The argentinian driver improves again his time lowering it about 3". Classification more close, but very poor: only three drivers on the track until here. Sure it's an intense period for Stunts racers, but sure it's a pity that a funny, engaging and selective track like Drive is so waste... It's true, there are still 5 days to race and we hope to see usual drivers, and other ones, join in this final. But it's sure missed the challenge that is the salt of every race. Anyway, we hope to see hot laps before the end, not forgetting the general classification that can say so much, keeping on mind that next race will be really without reference points, having to drive an unexplored car...

13 Jul 22.40 - But Chulk's time there was!!

I checked my mail just after 21:00 and there are not times so I updated the site. But after the update I opened again the mailbox and I found Chulk's time, arrived at 21:07. Chulk declares to have sent his time just after the CP not because he has realized his race after it, but for technical problems sending his result by mail. I decided to consider valid it, in order that his result doesn't affect the race of other drivers. But let's talk about Chulk's result an incredible result! Fantastic time and one more time Chulk and Mark L. Rivers are very, very near: only 0"10 between them!! What a big show!! And now the fight for the victory becomes really hot! See you next week!

13 Jul 22.20 - Fearing Chulk's leading, Mark L. Rivers smashes 80" barrier!

Only Mark L. Rivers on the track in last week and a new strong limit established: 1'19"90! The italian driver was worry for a possible new fast time of Chulk that would have lead the argentinian to catch other 2 bonus points, so he pushed very hard smashing the 80" barrier, but killing his possibilities to get other bonus points too. Sure, knowing Chulk's result in advance, Mark could keep his 1'20"70 realized last Monday, so to be able to lower again for the 3% his time in order of 3rd CP, but the "checkpoint rule" is just this... And now we'll see next week if there will be a new leader. Well, new limit appears really strong, but sure is not unbeatable. Who will overtake it? Sure Chulk, Duplode and Krys TOFF are able to do it. And we hope they (and, why not?, other drivers) will have time to try. About the passion, that is sure... ;) Just a last thing: CP3 is confirmed for Sunday (22th July) at 14:00, update will be lightly delayed (24-48 hours), and results are expected for Thursday 24th July... Stay with us!

13 Jul 22.20 - New limits for the 3 on scoreboard, but 1st row is the same!

AbuRaf70, Chulk and Mark L. Rivers again on the track with the italian driver who keeps strongly the lead lowering almost 5" his previous time (-4,55%) and  getting other 2 bonus points! But the couple of argentinians improves consistently: Chulk reaches a very fast time (1'50"95) and AbuRaf70, solved his PC problems, lower a lot his previous limit going down under 2' and closing to the vertex. And now we are going for 3rd and last checkpoint. Current leader seems to be determined to catch more points he can so to increase (or at least to mantain) his vantage in the championship. Will other drivers permit it? Indy specialists and other top drivers still have 2 weeks to take confidence with the track... but are 2 weeks enough to make a winning lap? Maybe not... but just a week and we will have a first response. Btw, while CP3 is confirmed for Sunday (22th July) at 14:00, update will be lightly delayed (24-48 hours), and results are expected for Thursday 24th July... A bit of suspense before the final rush!

08 Jul 23.00 - 2nd Checkpoint anticipated: 13th Jul 2007 at 21:00 (GMT+1)

Second Checkpoint has been anticipated and it will be the 13th Jul 2007 at 21:00. Analog warning is going to be published on the Forum.

08 Jul 22.45 - The "Fantastic 4" at work!

Soon on the track the "Fantastic 4" of NORH race! Yes, the bishops of this wonderful specialty made the first lap on current track in its first week. The fastest driver is Chulk with 1'23"50, then Mark L. Rivers with a gap of 0"50, 3rd Duplode with 1'25"15, and a bit more distance Krys TOFF who made only a recognition lap (1'32"80). So Chulk get a whole bonus point and Mark 0,5 bonus point. And now we can expect an hard challenge for the 2nd checkpoint! Chulk could push hard to get other 2 bonus points, but if he will push too much maybe this could impede him to catch other bonus points. Sure other drivers should act to impede to Chulk to lead again at 2nd checkpoint with a time 3% lower, but they could encountered the same problem... Difficult choice for all, even if Chulk is smiling more than others... ;)

08 Jul 22.45 - Really hard the new track, only little firsts steps on it

After 7 days, only 3 drivers on the track. Sure there are many competitions in action, and sure the finish is quite far. But maybe the track is really hard as we said, as the gaps show: Mark L. Rivers leads ahead Chulk for 4" and ahead AbuRaf70 for even 34"! About the inoxidable argentinian it's correct to say that he has encountered some problems with his PC, and he didn't succeed to try so much. So the last SDR Indy winner will have time to fix his potential in next weeks. ;) Anyway, one bonus point to Mark and half bonus point to Chulk. And now we'll see what next week reserve us. Will there be other drivers who will succeed to make a concrete attempt on "Drive", the hardest Indy race of last times? We sure are waiting the laps of Indy specialists, and we want to see how their potential is able to turn on the fight for the victory!

30 Jun 23.55 - Gentlemen, start your engines!

You have more than 7 days to the 1st checkpoint, ideal condition to test the track in order to catch more bonus points you can!

30 Jun 23.55 - Gentlemen, start your engines!

More than 7 days to the 1st Checkpoint, but maybe you should begin to study this hard Indy track very soon... ;)

27 Jun 18.40 - Advanced level

The name of this track doesn’t let doubts: it’s really a serious trial for NORH drivers. To avoid soon any misunderstanding, it’s good to say that it won’t present “impossible” tracts or hard difficulties so to make the race too much tiring. But drivers will have to put their experience and ability to govern their Indy in three distinct and very different sectors. In the first they will have to “dance” with their car driving in a kind of “Special Slalom” of ski between some tunnels (no shortcuts are availing…). So in this funny tract (but maybe not all have the same thought…;-) ) 2nd gear will be used so much according with accelerator. Second sector will be dedicated to the Powergear. No fear: PG will be easily reachable and quite easy to keep, but it won’t so easy to individuate the point of brake…. A drastical change of speed will introduce in the last sector where high speed (no PG, I think, too much risks trying to reach it) will have to keep until the last decisive brake to insert the car in the tunnels that lead at the finish. Yes, drivers will really take part at an advanced level NORH race, and the show will be sure great: stay with us!

27 Jun 18.40 - A real total drive experience

Here it is the 2nd Indy race of SDR season (the 3rd and last will be obviously at the end)! It’s a very hard track with many different tracts where the sensibility of the drivers will make the difference. The track is characterized from three distinct and quite different Powergear tracts. Two of them should be very special, personally I never see in other tracks what drivers will have to do at 245 mph. Did you jump previously on a long bridge or on a up/down corkscrek starting from the lowest terrain level? Maybe not… But if I’m wrong, please correct me! Anyway the winner won’t have only to manage perfectly his car in these PG tracts. There will be four “no-PG” tracts where drivers will have to race with all their ability to make a valid performance. Above all the 3rd of “no-PG” tracts is very hard and engaging, resulting almost surely funny and dazzling for all the competitors. And we can't forget the final. Arriving at 245 mph it won’t be so easy to choose the right trajectory to insert your car in a short but very bad hairpin tract… The whole track will result a real total drive experience … try to believe it!
