In the Acts of the Apostles there are the uncommon wonders that God worked through Peter, Paul and the other apostles as evangelizing activity, also thanks to these miracles many believed in Him.

In Jerusalem, in the first summary, Luke tells us: "many wonders and miraculous signs were done through the apostles; in Konya in occasion of the first missionary journey of Paul and Barnabas, he tells that the Lord gave testimony of his grace, and those signs and wonders were operating through the apostles, this is the summary of Paul in Malta: "Those who had diseases, in the island, came and were cured, they honored us, honors, and when came time the sail, they gave us things useful for the trip".

In Jerusalem, Peter, together with John, heals the paralytic at the door of the temple (3.1 to 11): Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple,a beggar asked for a handout ... And Peter said to him: "I have neither silver nor gold, but what I have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk." He took him by the right hand and lifted him up. And immediately his feet and ankles were made whole, and he jumped to his feet, walked, and entered with them into the temple walking and jumping and praising God. All the people saw him walking and praising God, and recognized him as the one who sat to ask for alms at the Beautiful Gate of the Temple and were amazed and astonished by what had happened.

In the first apostolic journey, Paul, too, heals a paralytic. There was in Lystra a man whose legs were paralyzed , crippled from birth, had never walked. He listened to the speech of Paul who was staring at him and seeing that he had faith to be saved, he said in a loud voice: "get up, stand upright." He jumped to his feet and began to walk.

In Jerusalem many signs and wonders were done among the people by the apostles ... meanwhile, the number women and men who believed in the Lord was growing more and more , so that they even carried out the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and stretchers, because when Peter passed, at least his shadow might fall on some of them. Even the crowds from the towns around Jerusalem, were bringing their sick and those tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

Peter went to the faithful who lived at Lydda. There he found a man named Aeneas, who for eight years had been lying on a stretcher because he was paralyzed. Peter said to him, "Aeneas, Jesus Christ heals you: arise, and make your bed." And immediately he rose. After having seen this, all the inhabitants of Lydda and Saron turned to the Lord.

In Malta, it happened that the father of Publius had to lay in bed, suffering from fever and dysentery, Paul went to visit him and, after a prayer, placed his hands on him and healed him. After this, the other inhabitants of the island who had diseases came and were healed.

In Cyprus, Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, fixed his eyes on the magician Elymas and said, "A man full of fraud and mischief, son of the devil, enemy of all that is righteous, will you not cease perverting the ways of the Lord? And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon you,you will be blind, and for some time, you will not see the sun. " Suddenly a mist and darkness fell on him, and he staggered about seeking someone to lead him by the hand. When he saw what had happened, the proconsul believed, being astonished by the teaching of the Lord.

Philip went down to a city in Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the crowds paid attention to the words of Philip when they heard and saw the signs which he did. It came many were possessed and the unclean spirits left them crying loudly, and many paralytics and cripples were healed. And there was great joy in that city.

As we went to pray, a slave girl, possessed by an evil spirit came to us, she was a fortune teller procuring many gains to her masters. She began to follow Paul and us, crying out, "These are the servants of the Most High God, who bring to you the way of salvation." So she did for many days until Paul, upset, turned and said to the spirit, "In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her." And immediately it came out.

A Giafa there was a woman disciple named Tabitha, which means gazelle, who did many good deeds and gave much in charity. In those days she fell sick and died ... heard that Peter was there, two men went to invite him ... Then Peter arose and went with them. Upon arriving, they took him upstairs and there he met all the weeping widows ... Peter sent them all out and knelt down to pray, then, turning to the body he said, "Tabitha, get up!" And she opened her eyes, she saw Peter, she sat up. He gave her his hand and lifted her up, then he called the believers and the widows, he presented her alive.

Now a young man named Eutychus, sitting at the window, while Paul continued to talk incessantly, was taken from a deep sleep, he fell down from the third story, and died. Then Paul went down, threw himself on him, hug him and said, "Do not be alarmed, he's alive!" Then he went up, broke bread and ate, and, after having spoken much until dawn, he left. Meanwhile, they brought the boy alive, and were greatly comforted.
