MacInTouch Reader Report: Early Mac Software - Part I
MacInTouch's reader thread on venerable Macintosh software.

While there is plenty of Payware and shareweare that will run on these mac's there is little or no FREEWARE

I have been searching for a freeware 'suite' for these old macs

BBedit [Lite] is the closest thing to a free word processor (and it really doesn't fit the bill for the audience i am targeting with these efforts.) i have not been able to find a freeware spreadsheet

Open source software is much higher quality that 'freeware' that one person improves until they no longer have the time and energy..
