ti sembrai il più vicino

che anche le mie pene

eran come le tue

ti togliesti ogni velo.

L'inverno lentamente

cominciava a calare

forse venne la neve

ma non potrei giurarci.

Una cosa ricordo

come se fosse ieri

tu continuavi a ridere

quando tornò l'estate.

Il muro di silenzio

finalmente crollato

e riscoprivi il mondo

come fossi rinata.

Ma non eri composta

di regole e di pietra

rincorrevi le nuvole

dando ad ognuna un nome.

Gli altri non lo capivano

né io seppi spiegarlo

e così ti rinchiusero

nella vecchia prigione.

Sentivo la tua voce

udivo i tuoi lamenti

ma non osai spezzare

le catene ai tuoi piedi.

L'inverno successivo

ti trovò di nuovo sola

e il gelo ti penetrò

fino a lambirti il cuore.

Ma fu proprio una nuvola

a darti la salvezza

ti chiamò dal balcone

e ti chiese di raggiungerla.

Da quando sei partita

tutto sembra cambiato

e nessuno sorride

come facevi tu.

Ogni tanto guardo il cielo
ed inseguo le nuvole
ma non so darle un nome
come facevi tu.

Among those of the other part

seemed you I were the closest
and showing me your wounds
you began  laughing.

Among those unlike you
seemed you I were the less outer
and opening your heart
you kept still your smile.

And when you discovered
that even my own sadness
was similar to the yours
you took away all veils.

Slowly the winter
started to descend
perhaps fell the snow
but I could not swear.

One thing I remember
as it happens nowadays
you continued laughing
when the summer came back.

The wall of silence
at last was broken down
and you refound the world
as you were reborn.
 
But you were not made
by the rules and the stone
you liked chase the clouds
giving everyone a name.
 
The others didn’t understood
neither I might explain it
and so they locked you
in the older your jail.
 
I could hear your voice
I could hear your cries
but I dared not break
the chains on your feet.
 
In the following winter
you are alone again
and the frost came in you
until to touch your heart.
 
But was just a cloud
which gave you safety

calling you through the balcony

and asking join together.

Since you gone away
everything seems changed
and nobody smiles
as how did only you.

Sometime I watch the sky
and I chase the clouds
