Why this site? First of all because it is a sort of promise to myself and to Oscar (a special person in Marsa Alam in Egypt and that part I knew as early as 1995). Secondly, because I think it is right in some way to make visible and to develop the entrepreneurial activities of a person who wants to do to progress. So why not use the high potential of the web? I met Oscar 3 years ago, during my first holiday in Marsa Alam, the Grand Resta Resort. He passed wearing his keffiyeh (كوفية) checkered red and white illustrating us any excursions that we could do with him on quad. In that year, 2009, I didn't do , partly because I stayed only one week and was very intense and I preferred to sit on the beach lounging between sunbathing and snoerkling. Last year, 2010, however, I decided to do the excursion in the desert at sunset. And I did well. I saw one of the best shows that nature can offer .... I, that made only rallies of vintage cars and motorcycles had never gone, I threw myself into this adventure with the quad in the rocky desert of Marsa Alam. My fears vanished after that Oscar made us do the test ride on the beach of Resta Reef. It was easy to use, like a scooter, though I tried to insist on the gears as you do in a motorcycle. This year, 2011, my intention was to return to the desert at sunset. Oscar has developed a path less intense, more accessible for beginners, without detracting from the charm of this tour. The most exciting, however, was the night excursion by quad.

Who is Oscar. I'd call him a self-made man. A person who has worked hard and work hard also now to advance culturally and economically. On the face of, when speaking with him, may suggest a person dedicated only to business and who occasionally flies off his head as if there were 1000 thoughts in hos mind. But scratching the kind of armor that seems to have put on him, can discover a real man, intelligent and respectful of others. Who has made fairness and timeliness his winning features. He speaks several languages (very good Italian,of which understands also inflections dialects), Japanese included. The fact which makes him special is his kindness and care of the next without being deferential.
Will remain in my mind the evening of August 14, 2011 when we took an appointment at 21 to "mall" out of the Grand Resta in Marsa Alam, as I was willing to make last-minute shopping for souvenirs. At 21.05 had not yet arrived. Even at 21.15. My anger was at 1000! So that I thought: "There was to be expected .... .... Just to rip me ...just to sell also to these." He arrived at 21.25 with a braking with his Renegade. Breathless. He didn't know how to apologize for the delay (caused by the usual tourist during a safari in the desert at sunset). At that time I was tiny for doubting of his word.

Anyone interested in arranging to get news about safari or on horseback with Oscar (in Marsa Alam, Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada) or quod is simple: just send an email to the above address or phone to the numebers you can see above. I'll contact Oscar. I should point out that I dont' gain anything from all this, ABSOLUTELY. It was my promise made to Oscar of spreading his activities as I think he is a serious person and a special friend. AND FRIENDS ARE RARE IN THESE TIMES.
