'Gordon to be PM' - it's hardly front page news, is it? Independent
The Financial Times headline read "Gordon Brown to be next prime minister". Odd was that it was lead news in brief on the front page, just a paragraph, with a normal length story on page two. Is this the first time in the history of journalism that a new prime minister has been lead brief in his own country? I suspect so.
