When puppies are ready to go to new homes between 8 to 12 weeks old they are permanently identified with a micro-chip or tattoo, as stated in the Canadian kennel club's strict breeding policy
Did you know Canadian kennel club members must permanently identify every puppy they sell with a microchip or tattoo before it leaves the breeders premises
A word of caution ! The Canadian kennel club and the American kennel club have very strict guidelines a breeding member must adhere to
Recently both kennel clubs have tighten registration polices and now have the right to obtain all breeding records, inspect kennel establishments and operations and request DNA testing
Clubs with Lower Standards This is the reason why many breeders in the US have joined new kennel clubs that are less invasive and slack with registration requirements
The bottom line, its cheaper for a breeder to join a lower standard kennel club, where they can continue their poor breeding practices, and make more money off disillusioned customers
