Brief Statistics.

(1) La copertina del disco originale fu creata con una serie di scatti sovrapposti dei quattro Floyd in abiti floreali, realizzata da Vic Sigh, un amico del produttore Norman Smith. Per quanto riguarda invece il retro della copertina, Syd Barrett fu il principale responsabile della scelta del motivo, dato che era un suo disegno: anche questo fu ispirato da una foto di una session che i Floyd fecero in un parco di Londra (Ruskin Park, luglio 1967). Particolare ed unica è l'edizione turca della Neu Records, che raffigurava un albero stilizzato nel il deserto Dead Vlei, un’area protetta nel deserto del Namib-Naukluft, in Namibia.

(2) La disposizione all'origine dei pezzi del disco non includeva Interstellar Overdrive, che inizialmente era stata registrata per essere pubblicata su 45 giri e poi accantonata dal gruppo in attesa di incidere qualche nuovo brano. I nomi dei membri della band erano riportati sul retro della copertina in tutte le edizioni come "SYD BARRETT, ROGER WATERS, RICK WRIGHT, NICKY MASON".

(3) Variazioni sui brani. In alcuni casi, i brani contenuti nel disco sono diversi e seguono un'altra scaletta; riportiamo i casi conosciuti. L'edizione giapponese del disco ha aggiunto "See Emily Play" alla fine della seconda facciata, mentre l'edizione americana è un tantino differente da quella europea (così come quella coreana, che deriva da quella americana), infatti, riporta "See Emily Play" all'inizio al posto di "Astronomy Dominè"; stranamente anche la prima edizione venezuelana riporta "See Emily Play" ed un altro brano inedito, quale "Candy and A Currant Bun" (ma non riporta "Take Up Thy Stethoscope and Walk" e "Chapter 24"). Tutto il resto dei paesi riporta i brani come nell'edizione inglese, così come anche le ultime versioni remastered da 180g del 2016. Qui sotto sono riportati i brani presenti sulle edizioni:
