Brief Statistics.
(1) La copertina del disco mostra per la prima volta i quattro Pink Floyd in primo piano; la Hipgnosis utilizzň poi la foto ingrandita di un orecchio, con degli effetti che mostravano onde sonore provocate dalla caduta di un sasso nell’acqua, due foto distinte di un orecchio e di vari anelli d'acqua luminosi, che poi vennero fuse le due immagini per creare la cover.
(2) Le copertine del disco furono tutte uguali, alcune apribili, altre non apribili. Alcuni paesi optarono per riportare il titolo sul davanti (come gli U.S.A.), mentre variava il retro della copertina rispetto all'edizione originale inglese. Degne di nota sono le versioni della ex Jugoslavia, caratterizzate da parecchie etichette con minuscole differenze tra di loro. Curiosa fu la traduzione del disco nell'edizione cilena, che riportava Entremeterse; mentre il brano Echoes fu tradotto indifferentemente nei paesi di lingua spagnola come Ecos o come Resonancias.
