Born in
Florence (Italy) in 1967, Italian and English mothertongue, after
completing his studies at the Istituto Tecnico Agrario Statale di
Firenze (Agricultural Diploma) he moved to the UK where he obtained
a place on the Agricultural Business Management BSc (Hons) course at
Wye College (University of London). After successfully completing the BSc, he joined
for one year CEAS Consultants (now Agra CEASC) before undertaking a
further year's study to obtain, again at Wye College, a Master's in
Agricultural Economics with specialisation in Marketing.
Once returned
to Florence he started working as a freelance consultant. After a
year he accepted the opportunity to work as Assistant Export Manager
for a local publisher of tourist souvenir books operating
world-wide. A further step in his career came when he joined the
British Consulate in Florence as Commercial Officer in 1998.
After eight
years he decided to go back to working freelance. His experience
and contacts range widely in many different sectors, although his
main areas of activity regard agriculture, food and drink (in
particular Single Malt Whisky and wine), yarns and textiles,
menswear and children clothing.
Only committed
to jobs he knows he can undertake and deliver within the agreed
deadlines.
All contacts
and work will be dealt with in the strictest confidence.
