The rooms
that we rent are near to a small country, called Pomino,in municipality of Rufina.
Pomino is in the Tuscan countryside at 650 meters above sea level and it is
to 40 minutes from Florence and to 30 minutes from National Park Foreste Casentinesi.
The delimitation
of the municipality has given from the bordering territories of Pontassieve,
Pelago, Montemignaio, Pratovecchio, Londa and Dicomano.
The particular
landscape of Pomino has a variety of sceneries. Wineyard, olive grove, woods
of chestnut trees and oaks. In Pomino there is one of the much Frescobaldi's
farms. Looking the inestimable patrimony of some house, you can understand how
the human job and the art of the producing wine (streets
of wine Chianti Rufina e Pomino) have left an indelible sign in the nature,
gives it a precise identity, too.
