Fede

Virtue

Faith - Charity.

From the rehearsals it emerges how important it is to believe, it is Jesus himself who emphasize it. "Your faith has healed you." Faith is therefore a condition for miracles; indeed it is what precedes the prodigy. To understand it, just read the following texts.

Jesus heals a paralytic

"And behold, they brought him a paralytic, lying on a bed. Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic," Son, courage, your sins are forgiven".
(Mt 9:2).

Jesus Calm the stormy sea

"There was a great wind storm, and the waves fell in the boat so much that it was full now." He sat on the pillow, and slept, and then they woke him up and said, "Master, do you not care we are lost? "He stood up, threatened the wind, and said to the sea," Come, calm down! "The wind ceased and there was great resentment, and he said to them," Why are you afraid? Do you still have faith?".
(Mc 4:37-41).

The Faith of the Centurion

"Coming into Cafarnaum, a centurion came to him and asked him," Lord, my servant is in the house, in bed, paralyzed, and terribly suffers. "Jesus replied," I will go and heal him. "But the centurion replied, "Lord, I am not worthy that you come to my house, but only say one word and my servant will be healed. Listening to him, Jesus wondered and said to those who followed him:" Verily I say unto you, in Israel I have not found anyone with such a great faith. " ... And Jesus said to the centurion, "Go, and do it for yourself, as you have believed." At that moment the servant was healed".
(Mt 8: 5-13).

Jesus heals hemorrhagic woman

"A woman who had been suffering from hemorrhage for twelve years and that no one had managed to heal, approached her, touched the fringe of her cloak and immediately the bleeding stopped." Jesus told her, "Who touched me?" Peter then said, "Teacher, the crowd shakes you all over and crushes you." But Jesus said, "Someone touched me. I felt that a force came out of me. "Then the woman, seeing that she could not remain hidden, shivered, threw herself at her feet and declared to all the people why she had touched her and that she was immediately healed. He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has saved you. Go in peace!".
(Lk 8: 43-48).

Jesus Heals Two Blinds

"As Jesus went away from there, two blind men followed him, crying out," Son of David, have mercy on us. "When he entered the house, the blind approached him and Jesus said to them," Do you think I can do this? " They said, "Yes, Lord!" Then he touched their eyes and said, "Do it for you according to your faith." And they opened their eyes".
(Mt 9: 27-30).

Mustard grain

"The apostles said to the Lord," Make us faith in us. "The Lord replied," If you had faith as a grain of mustard, you could say to this mulberry tree: Get uprooted and go to plant in the sea, and it will listen to you".
(Lc 16-6).

Power of Faith

"Jesus answered them," Have faith in God. Verily I say unto you, If any man say unto this mount, Arise and cast into the sea, without doubt in his heart, but believing that whatsoever it is said shall come to pass: therefore I say unto you, all you will ask for in prayer, have faith in having obtained it and will be there".
(Mk 11: 22-24).

Healing daughter of Jairo

"He was still speaking, when from the head of the synagogue's house they said," Your daughter is dead. Why do you still disturb the Master? "But Jesus, hearing what they said, told the chief of the synagogue," Do not be afraid, only have faith! "And he did not allow anyone to follow him except to Peter, James and John, James's brother. They came to the house of the chief of the synagogue, and he saw the crowd and people crying and screaming, and said to them, "Why are you so confused and weeping? The little girl is not dead, but she is asleep. "And they mocked him, but he cast them all out, took with him the father and mother of the little girl and those who were with him and entered where the little girl was. He said, "Kum's Talents," which means, "Maid, I tell you, get up!" The girl got up and walked".
(Mk 5: 35-42).

Jericho's blind man

"And they came to Jericho, and as he left Gerich with his disciples and with a large crowd, son of Timaeus, Czech and beggar Bartimeus, sat down the road. Feeling that he was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry and say," Son of David, Jesus, have mercy on me! "Many reproved him for silence, but he cried even more strongly:" Son of David, have mercy on me! "Jesus stopped and said," Call him! "And they called the blind man, saying, "Courage! He rose up and came to Jesus, and Jesus said to him, "What do you want me to do for you?" The blind man replied, "Rabbonì, that I see again! "And Jesus said to him," Go, your faith has saved you. "And immediately he saw again and followed him along the road".
(Mc 10, 46-52).

Jesus saves Peter

"The boat in the meantime was already a few miles from the ground and was shaken by the waves: the wind was contrary, and at the end of the night he went to them walking by the sea. Master! "And they shouted for fear, but immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying," Courage is me, do not be afraid. "Peter said to him," Lord, if you are, you command me to come to you on the waters. "And he said, "Come!" Peter walked out of the boat, walked on the water, and went to Jesus. But seeing that the wind was strong, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, he cried, "Lord, save me!" And immediately Jesus stretched out his hand, grabbed him and said, "Oh man of little faith, why did you doubt it?".
(Mt 14, 24-31).

The faith of a pagan woman

And behold, a Canaanite woman, coming from that region, cried out, "Merciful to me, Oh Lord, the son of David, my daughter is very tormented by a devil." But he did not even say a word to her. Then his disciples approached him, imploring him: "Listen her, for she is behind us crying!" He replied, "I was not sent except for the lost sheep of the house of Israel." But that came to him and prostrated before him, saying, "Lord, help me!" And he replied, "It is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs." "True, Lord," said the woman, "and yet the little dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master's table." Then Jesus replied, "Woman, great is your faith, do it for you as you wish." And from that moment her daughter was cured.
(Mt 15, 22-28).
