MATHS
& SCIENCE
The Maths and Science Comenius
project binds Italy,
Latvia, Poland,
Sweden and
Turkey in
a longlife programme partnership.
It creates learning opportunities
for primary and secondary school children in the Maths and Science fields
( as well as in social studies).
This -2-year-long project focuses
on developing children’s intercultural awareness meant as European
citizenship and foreign language communication skills; it aims at
promoting new teaching methods through the use of ITC in daily school
activities.
All the schools involved test new
strategies and tools in teaching Science and Maths, share learning approaches and experiences and compare final
results.
The final goal of Maths
and Science is the improvement of the school curricula, the development of
a positive attitude to learning and the enrichment of teaching standards
in all member states.
