Vipera Aspis ssp.
Other Italian Vipers (Berus, Ammodytes, Ursinii)
Tips on Italian Vipers
Italian Vipers Venom and Toxicity

This Page Provides useful herpetological informations about Italian Vipers,
My name's Massimo Visconti, i'm 28 and I got passion in Snakes and herpetoculture
since i was 13.
I live in Italy, not far from Rome in a small town called Marta (Viterbo).
I actually keep various kind of snakes
From time to time I used to catch in the past local vipers and keep them only
for studiyng purposes for some days at home (time of keeping depending from the caught specimen accomodation or not to captivity).
This page is intended to bring informations and tips on how to keep vipers
in captivity and the behaviour we MUST have for these Beautiful, often misuderstood,
animals.
Excuse my mistakes in writing in english, but I hope doing this that the most
can read my site.

Thank You for Visiting my pages.

Since my youngest age I've been fascinated by Reptiles, Snakes in particular...
I found them the most beautiful animals on the planet, since then my passion
is growing, and growing...
I can stand sit watching my snakes for hours, looking snake eyes is something
special for me...always trying to know what's inside a snake sight... eveytime without
finding an answer, they are such misterious animals, some are tame
some are among the nastiest beasts, all are always unpredictable and obviously
wonderful.
Moreover, owning a snake as a pet is something that make us grow inside;
having a dog that will do the things we do isn't that much exciting.
Keeping a snake for which we have to change our points of view and asking nothing
from it...That's something deeper and constructive, that's my humble opinion.
