Liam won't sing about Nazis

Liam Gallagher draws the line when it comes to singing about Nazis.
Following last week's exclusive story that Liam was guest vocalist on the title track of Death In Vegas' forthcoming 'Scorpio Rising' LP, NME.COM has learned that he baulked at singing some of the lyrics as they were originally written because they alluded to "the Fuhrer".
Noel Gallagher told NME.COM this week: "Liam’s weird about that kind of thing He’s like going to me, 'I'm not too sure about some of these lyrics’. And I'm going, ‘Look just go down there and tell them. You’re in the biggest band in the fookin' country. Just go in there and tell them. Do what you do here, you fucking arrogant little twat.'"
Death In Vegas's Richard Fearless confirms that Liam refused to sing the lines. He said: "The actual lines I wrote first were, "Harrison murals on the corner/Insane men preaching the fuhrer’, because we found this Nazi selling memorabilia on the street and preaching. Liam didn’t want to sing about the Fuhrer, though. He was, like, ‘I get where you’re coming from, but I’m not doing it’."

Oasis vs TOTP

Oasis have vowed never to play Top Of The Pops again after the band were involved in an angry bust-up with the show's producers.
Noel Gallagher is furious at the way the show edited recordings of the band's single The Hindu Times and other songs.
He has banned the group from playing the show again after he slammed the TOTP crew as "amateurs". Noel said: "The last time we appeared on Top Of The Pops it was f****** dreadful. "They were so unprofessional, a bunch of f****** amateurs."
Noel ended up spending five hours cutting the performance himself.
He said: "They cut six seconds from one song. They have been doing it for 35 years and they still can't get it right. "I know they are used to doing s*** pop groups but if they can't hack it then why bother? We will never play Top Of The Pops again."
But a TOTP spokeswoman hit back, saying: "Oasis came in to perform seven songs which will be used over the year.
"They already had their own sound guy at the studios. So if Noel doesn't like any of the sound it is his own fault - he chose to mix it.
"But there are no hard feelings on our side - we are even showing The Hindu Times single again this Friday.
"I'm sure once it has calmed down they will come back."
