Welcome to The Pink Baboon Press.
I will try not get go into arbitrary mission statements. But this site is largely dedicated to the aggressive publication of primary source material for reconstructing western combat arts; freely accessible to the general public. That is, in the good faith that these will catalyze the recreation of these systems in a more forensic and less speculative manner, so that one day Medieval and Renaissance combat systems will be practiced once again as they were meant. From time-to-time I will update the site with new translations and research information as it comes available. You should hopefully come to see additions every couple of months. I will also be seeking to find new works in the future. But currently I will be translating existing works from 16th Century Bolognese into English.

In the meantime get a cup of coffee, sit back and enjoy the read :-)
