Extending this to the specific case of software, we can say that a software process is a method of developing or producing software
After all, all software has been developed using some method
We can also see that a process is nothing without the something that gets developed - in our case the software itself - that the process produces
So long as you have and follow a good process the software will almost write itself
First, such software is very difficult to maintain
