Tre uomini, tre paracadutisti della 1ª Divisione che arrivano a Cassino a gennaio del 1944 ed a Cassino combattono, prima ancora che una delle battaglie più importanti della Seconda guerra mondiale, la più importante battaglia per rimanere vivi.
Io li ho conosciuti, e voglio onorare la loro memoria in questo modo; senza celebrazioni, senza entusiasmo, ma solo come uomini.

Three men, three parachutists of 1st Division who arrive to Cassino in January 1944 and in Cassino fight, before one of more important battles of Second world war, the more important battles in order to remain alive. I have known them, and I want to honor their memory in this way; without celebrations, enthusiasm.. but only like men. Three men.
