Shareholders of Emmis ’ 6.25% convertible preferred stock on record Jan. 1 will earn a dividend of just over 78 cents a share, payable on Jan. 15, the company’s board of directors said Thursday (Dec. 7). Each preferred share is convertible to 2.44 shares of Emmis Class A Common Stock using the conversion price of $20.495 a share, the company noted in its announcement.
