FREE advertise your Site with Banner Exchange
One of the emerging methods on the Web to advertise Sites, is through a Banner Exchange program.
In general, you must reserve some space in your pages, where the service supplier will
display a banner each time someoine will access your pages.
As counterpart, it will expose your banner (provided during the registration phase)
on other pages belonging to other partecipant to the program, with the 1:2 rate. This mean that
if your page containing the banner space, is accessed for example 20
times, your banner will be displayed 10 times.
All the providers of this services make available statistics on the accesses,
on the exposition of your banner and many other.
Internet Link Exchange
Has been the First and it is now the most popular program. There is also the
possibility to do a lot of activities (related with the advertising) and earn as benefit
a certain quantity of exposition bonuses.
Link Exchange is allowed also insithe the pages hosted by Geocities.
BannerSwap
Very similar to Link Exchange, offer about the same services.
There is also the possibility to earn exposition bonuses for particular activities.
Net On's Banner Exchange
My be the youngest, it's peculiarity is to handle also MULTILANGUAGE banners. In other
word, you can supply several banners each one in different language and, they will be
displayed depending on the Visitor Domain Server nationality.
As Link Exchange do, there is a Top Program with benefits for people that place the banners
on the Top of their pages. In this case, the display ratio of your banner becomes 3:5
instead of 1:2)
Geocities GeoRewards
It's the program reserved to the Geocities citizens. The rules are about the same but
your pages have to be compliant to the Geocities rules. You can earn points
for each qualified visit to your site. In the Georewards section you can find
what are these prizes.
Great FREE E-Mail services on the WEB
Do you use the E-Mail? Do you need an E-Mail? E-Mail problems
when you change ISP? Do you want to read your E-Mail from any browsers?
Here is some solutions to these problems:
HotMail
With HotMail you can have the following services:
an E-Mail address like yourname@hotmail.com
a complete E-Mail environment inside the browser (read, send, catalog,
addressbook,..)
the possibility to associate your phisical POP3 mailer for receiving in the
HotMail environment your standard E-Mail.
iName
This service is mainly an E-Mail forwarder. You can choose your own E-Mail
address like xxxx@yyyy.yyyy where xxxx is your name or a nickname. yyyy.yyyy is the
domain that you can choose from a very wide list. For example I've choosed
gigilivorno@myself.com
After having decided your address, you can link it to your real E-Mail address.
In This way, you can always use the same xxxx.yyyy.yyyy address even if you'll change the ISP.
You have only to change the link between the IName E-Mail and your new E-Mail address.
Geocities
This is a way to obtain an E-Mail address for FREE. The only requirement
is to subscribe to Geocities and host your pages there.
