Benvenuti in questo sito che è stato costruito sotto la pressante richiesta dei nostri (tre o quattro) affezionati utenti. Soprattutto è stato fatto per permettergli di prelevare direttamente i nostri programmi senza vederli frugare nel nostro PC. A distanza di più di un anno dalla comparsa del primo pacchetto di aritmetica in virgola mobile a precisione variabile per Excel - XNUMBERS - divertiti (più che altro sorpresi) dal discreto successo di diffusione, ne abbiamo curato la nuova versione che è ora quasi presentabile. Cosa sia questo programma e a cosa serva è spiegato subito dopo.
Questo è anche il sito dove potete trovare il pacchetto per calcolo matriciale e algebra lineare per Excel MATRIX il cui successo ci ha divertito ancora di più. Tutte e due sono freeware.

XNUMBERS 5.6 - Multi Precision Floating Point Computing and Numerical Methods for EXCELâ

Xnumbers is an Excel addin (xla) that performs multi-precision floating point arithmetic from 15 up to 250 significant digits. It is compatible with Excel XP and consists of a set of more than 300 functions for arithmetic, complex , trigonometric, logarithm, exponential calculus.

XNumbers for OO Calc

The multiprecision kernel of Xnumber is finally migrated into CALC, the freeware spreadsheet developed by the OpenOffice.org comunity. For download and details, see http://www.richhillsoftware.com

MATRIX 2.3 - Matrix and Linear Algebra functions for EXCELâ

Since birth, Excel appeared as a fantastic tool for studying and developing numeric calculus. Its worksheets, divided into rows and columns, resulted particularly adapted for matrix and linear calculus. From then on, lots and lots of new objects are included into Excel (not all of them very useful, indeed!) but, surprisingly, the matrix functions are substantially the same of many years ago. This little smart addin intends to cover this gap, improving the standard set of the functions for matrix calculus.

This site will be still open for a while, as a sort of ancient miner, but none new software will be released.

*** Cari amici, per più di 10 anni, il nostro team ha rilasciato da questo sito, grazie anche alla collaborazione di quanti ci hanno scritto e aiutato,  una buona quantità di software e documentazione. Ma, come per tutte le cose, è venuto il tempo di chiusura.

Il sito rimarrà ancora aperto, come una specie di miniera per quanti (bit-flipped) lo vorranno, ma nessun nuovo software sarà rilasciato in futuro.
