Installation
Notes
This
add-ins package for Excel XP/2003 contains 3 files:
xnumbers.xla Functions handbook and addins loader
xnumbers.hlp Help
for multiprecision general functions
xnumbers.csv Handbook
definition of general functions
Place
all the above files in a folder of your choice. The addin is contained entirely
in this directory.
Your
system is not modified in any other way.
If
you want to uninstall this package, simply delete its folder - it's as simple
as that!
Note:
if you have a previous version of XNUMBERS, remove al files before install.
To
use, follow the usual procedure for installing Excel Addins:
1) Open Excel
2) Select <Addins...> from the
<Tools> menu
3) Once in the Addins Manager, search for
and select XNUMBERS.XLA
4) Click OK and have fun!
When
starting, Excel loads XNUMBERS. If you want to stop XNUMBERS from loading,
simply deselect its check-box in the Excel Addins Manager.
Requirements:
min 128 MB RAM + 0.7 GHz CPU (but much more is better!)
NOTE:
For Excel XP/2002 users. The default security setting doesn't allowe to install
Xnumbers as is.
To
prevent the error message it is necessary to open the Excel menu option:
Tools
| Options | Security | Macro Security, and tick the box labelled
"Trust
Access to Visual Basic Project".
This
software is freeware and opensource. You can use it as you like.
I
