Capita spesso che io venga svegliata di notte dal rumore familiare delle sue dita sulla tastiera.
Lavora al buio, silenzioso, con precisione, con dedizione.
Ad ogni suo singolo scatto dedica parte di se. Nulla è banale, nessun particolare lasciato al caso.
Sono gelosa della fotografia? Forse.
Nelle sue immagini c’è anche la sua parte più privata, nascosta, i suoi sentimenti,
quello che io solo a volte riesco a toccare; e con fatica.
La staticità non appartiene alle fotografie di Flavio, dietro ci sono storie, sentimenti, legami ed emozioni.
L’osservatore può intravederne sfumature, per poi condividere, fantasticare
ed entrare in punta di piedi nell’unicità del momento catturato.  

It often happens that the familiar sound of his fingers on the keyboard wake me up in the night.
He works in the dark, silent, precise, with dedication.
He gives a part of himself to every single shot. Nothing is ordinary and no detail is random.
Am I jealous of photography? Probably.
 In his images there’s also his more intimate, hidden side.. his feelings,
which I can rarely touch, with difficulty.
Stillness doesn't belong to Flavio's photography. Behind his photos there are stories, links, feelings, emotions.
The observer can just catch a glimpse to nuances, in order to share, imagine and experience
the uniquely captured moment.

What can I say about Flavio that hasn't already been said???
I was first drawn to his mini-pic (opposite benches that wasn't speaking to each other at the time)
 while commenting on another Better Photo members gallery.
 That lead to an awareness of his Photography and often, if not daily, I check his gallery for a glimpse of that part of the world.
 He has displayed every emotion visible or felt by a human being.
 That is what I personally take from his images, His Heart....
I am so Blessed to be  not only a fellow photographer, but also a friend...
My Italian Friend, that is how I refer to Flavio...The best of both worlds....

Cosa scrivere su Flavio?
Forse ci vorrebbe una giornata intera per riuscire a descrivere questo artista,
estremamente sensibile ma altrettanto imperscrutabile.
Difficile intuire qualcosa di lui parlandoci, facile capire guardando i suoi scatti.
Come se la macchina fotografica fosse la sua confidente e ad ogni scatto le raccontasse qualcosa di sé.

Nelle sue immagini vedo il contrasto tra forza e debolezza. Osservo coi suoi occhi, ascolto le sue storie.
E percepisco la presenza di qualcosa non detta, profonda ed oscura,
che spinge il mio occhio a guardare oltre quello che racconta,
cercando la risposta che ogni volta ci nega.

E' questo che attrae fortemente nei suoi scatti: il non detto, il non ancora raccontato.
L’essere coinvolti in questo sforzo di immaginazione per aggiungere i pezzi mancanti della storia.

E' come guardare dal buco di una serratura, la stessa che tutti noi portiamo dentro
e per tutta la vita cerchiamo di negare o nascondere,
tenendo chiuse e ben al sicuro le nostre debolezze.
Debolezze che i suoi occhi hanno la forza di osservare.

 Premesso che non sono un critico né un grande intenditore di fotografia devo farti i miei più sinceri complimenti
 sono fotografie molto belle alcune sicuramente da copertina.
Forse un pò azzardate quelle dove manca parte del soggetto, qualcuno più "ignorante" potrebbe pensare  ad un errore d'inquadratura,
 invece secondo me  è proprio quel particolare a renderle interessanti.
Complimenti Flavio proprio belle,ottimo il lavoro anche in postproduzione (come diciamo noi del video)
mai eccessivi gli effetti e ottime tonalità di colore,meriti di fare molta strada.
Nel ricordarti di prendere il mio giudizio per quello che vale ti mando un forte abbraccio 
con la speranza di sfondare con la nostra passione. ciao a presto.......
