Niente alcool, niente droghe, niente sesso per essere sempre lucidi e pronti agli attacchi del nemico. Suonando una serie di concerti con i 7 Seconds riescono a diffondere il loro credo e a dare vita al movimento Straight Edge. Dopo la stampa di "We're Not Alone" nel 1988 Ray Cappo abbraccia le ideologie hare krishna sciogliendo gli Youth of Today e dando vita al progetto Shelter. In

Threat, put on the Youth of Today, bringing on the same
ideas of those bands. No alchool, no drugs, no sex to be
always ready to enemy attacks. Playing a lot of gigs with 7
Seconds they are able to expand their movement
and they call it Straight Edge. After the release of "We're
Not Alone" in 1988, Ray Cappo reaches the hare krishna ideology;
Youth of Today split up and Cappo build the Shelter.
