Program/history: D560 launched on 01/20/1988, launched on 10/28/1989 and commissioned in January 1992. D561 launched on 11/03/1989, launched in February 1991 and commissioned in December 1992. They will also be the first unit to receive the new version of Teseo, the mk2/A, with capacity for land attack. The latest report of missile qualification have been carried out by De La Penne on November 19, 2007.
The adoption of new Vulcan ammunition for the 127 mm and David / Dart for the 3 76mm/62 is not confirmed but could be carried out without any great difficulty..

Trivia: Milas has cost 35 million euros. Despite unity of the early nineties, have no vertical launcher for antiaircraft missiles, which are common in the units of the period.. This is derived from the fact that the units have been realized with almost a decade of delay because of lack of funds.
The stabilisation system is capable of reducing the width of the roll of 90%. The propulsion system used is a CODOG associated with variable pitch propellers and a system of insufflating air for abatement the irradiated noise.
