Spanish school - of Trijueque

The town of Trijueque is located 25 miles from Guadalajara. Its good communications with both Guadalajara and Madrid, and the price of housing, cheaper than in the provincial capital and the Community of Madrid, means that it is a booming town planning, which involves a large population growth.
Families from Guadalajara and Madrid (mainly Alcalá de Henares) move up here to be located. Another important area of population is from Eastern Europe, mainly Romania and Latin America.
Until the 2006-2007 academic year the center was incorporated into the CRA Valcarria. Public School is now called St. Bernabe and operates as an independent center. It is located in the town of Trijueque and its catchment area covers the towns of Utande, Valdearenas and Muduex, housing estates "Mirador del Cid" and "Beltraneja".
The characteristics of our students are determined by their place of residence, having found the cloister of the heart problems of coexistence among different cores. There is a physical impossibility after-school relationship between students and the residential areas of the town making it difficult to conduct procedures related to the coexistence that is working at the center have a continuity beyond.
Families of students Trijueque are rooted in the people engaging in agricultural, have access to municipal services (library, Internet, social center, associations ...) and their involvement in their children's education and their participation in the center is higher.
Families of students in the Mirador del Cid have purchasing power and the average cultural level, both spouses usually work and have easier access to local services (distance 1 km of it). Their level of involvement is similar to the previous families.
The families of the students in the sociocultural Beltraneja have a low average level, with high levels of uprooting and disarray, little involvement in their children's education and activities center. They have difficulty to access to municipal services is 5 km from the urban core.

Polish school - Zespól Szkól Ponadgimnazjalnych

Our school, Zespól Szkól Ponadgimnazjalnych nr 2 im. Bartosza Glowackiego, is situated in a nice town called Tarnobrzeg. It is in the Podkarpackie Province in the south-eastern part of Poland. The over 400 year old town was a major centre for the mining and processing of sulphur for about 40 years. In the 1990s the mining area was closed and was filled with water from the Vistula River to form a reservoir used for recreation and water sport. Tarnobrzeg is getting more and more popular place for tourists who are attracted by architectural monuments whose wealth is a big challenge for everybody who wants to find out the source of our national identity. Journey through the neighboring sights is a fascinating adventure and discovering of our national history.Our school is situated in three buildings next to the old Dzików Castle where school used to be housed for 60 years before castle's renovation. There are five types of Technical Colleges: Hotel Industry, Feeding and Household, Agricultural Business, Economics, Landscape Architecture. The facilities at our school are: library, multimedia lab, practical exercises labs, sports gym, school store, IT lab, simulation firm. Our school cultivates cultural traditions through many years of activity of choir, Song and Dance Ensemble “Dzikowianie”. There are 520 students aged 16-20. English, French, German and Russian are taught in our school as first or second foreign languages. Students are aware of the importance of learning foreign languages as one of the main skills for their future occupations. Some of them tried their abilities in the E-twinning project with Bulgaria “History of my region” in 2008. However participation in this project will help them to improve the knowledge of foreign languages and vocational subjects, give the opportunity to know better other cultures and traditions.It's a great chance for students, first of all from Technical Colleges of Landscape Architecture and Economics to test their abilities and skills as performed in the project activities are in accordance with the chosen direction of education. We would like to promote our small motherland, to find common interests and to get closer our nations that helps us to develop better international relations. It will help students to find out their place in globalized society and quickly changing world of work and also help to develop their potentials.

Greek school - Lyceum of Katerini

Our town, Katerini, lies in the north of Greece, surrounded by Mt Olympus, the legendary dwelling of the Ancient Gods, Mt Pieria, the land of the Muses and the coasts with the inviting blue waters of the Thermaikos Gulf.Katerini has been attracting thousands of tourists in recent years and is rapidly growing into an advanced tourist area because of its privileged nature and location, as it provides easy access to the city of Thessaloniki, about 70 km away, and the "Macedonia" airport.
The most important tourist attractions of the area is Mt Olympus, Dion, and Platamonas Castle.Mt Olympus is a national nature reserve. It is a tourist attraction both for its unique beauty of nature and the glory of the myth.Dion, whose divine name was a link with Zeus (Dias), lies below Mt Olympus. This was the sacred town of Macedonians where the Olympian Zeus worshipped.Platamonas Castle was an ancient town then it became a Byzantine settlement and later a Frank and Turkish castle.
Our school is the 3° Lyceum of Katerini. It has got 404 students and 40 teachers. Students are taught foreign languages, English and German and they are also computer literate. The aim of this program is to help students know the culture of the participant countries, develop links with other countries in Europe and realize their position in it .Recently, a great number of immigrants has come to our area, as well as all over the Greece. Their children study in our school too and, consequently, it is very important for our students to realise the importance of diversity.

Italian school - IstitutoTecnico Costruzioni Ambiente e Territorio " B.Tallini

The "IstitutoTecnico Costruzioni Ambiente e Territorio " B.Tallini" " is a high school located in Formia, a nice town far about 155 kilometers from Rome and 100 km. from Naples.
Formia is a popular place for tourists who came here attracted not only by the sea, but also by the different monumental areas here placed. The presence of the ancient Romans is visible anywhere in Formia, as a matter of facts there are lots of Roman remains as the tomb of Cicero, the Roman Cistern, and other Roman monumental areas as Minturnae in Minturno, the Mausoleo of Lucio Munazio Planco in Gaeta, the remains of the ancient via Appia in Itri and Fondi, and many other archeological finds you can see in the several museums present in the area.In our school there are 30 teachers and 220 students from 14 to 19 years old.
The project is led by the technical section, which is located in a new building constructed two years ago, with a library, laboratories of technical structures, surveying, computer science, and chemistry. There are also a design and a multimedia classroom, and a large gym.For many years our school has been pursuing a project called "The Memory of the Land". In this project many momuments placed in the towns close the school have been surveyed, drawn and studied, and you can see them in the web site of our Institute. The project we would like to work at is similiar with it.
Our students study English for five years, so this project will help them improving it, by meeting other people of other different countries with different traditions.
