Stefano Bet is one of the most innovative italian flutists of his generation, specialist in baroque, classic, prehistoric, renaissance traverso and recorder. He was born in Friuli Venezia Giulia (Italy), autodidact about historic instruments, then followed courses with the best specialists. Stefano made his debut in 1983 at Festival Vivaldi Venezia, then participated as a solo, chamber and orchestral musician at many international festivals collaborating with great conductors and ensembles. He has recorded for many national radios and labels, sometimes getting critical acclaim. A dedicated teacher, active in the musicological and organologic research, he has given courses and masterclasses for musicians from many countries around the world.
