We have recently completed a DVD on the exciting new finds in the Crypt beneath Siena Cathedral.

Once a richly decorated entrance hall with many frescos which has been preserved in its original 1280 condition by the decision to fill it with rubble in order to enlarge the Cathedral above.

Rinaldo da Siena emerges as the most brilliant Italian painter of his time. He was contemporary with Cimabue.

We also analyse the drawing in the “Duccio” window with surprising results.
