Annunzia Fumagalli
Annunzia Fumagalli was born in Inzago,
(MI) Italy. She has lived and worked in the Marche Region since 1991. In the
same year, with Rocco Spinelli, Danilo e Nazzareno Tommasetti and Antonella
Spinelli, she founded the Art Group “L’Arca Dei Folli”. With “L’Arca
Dei Folli”, Annunzia exhibited her work on various themes in palaces and
historical buildings in the Piceno area. Her exhibits are examples of
figurative art tightly interwoven with poetry and music. Because of their
cultural content, these exhibits were sponsored by the Region Marche and the
Province of Ascoli Piceno. When Annunzia met Arnaldo Angellotti, he introduced
her to the group “Cantina of The Art of Ripatransone’. Within this
environment of playful culture, she meets painters, musicians and international
artists. Annunzia experiences the pleasure of discussing her work with artists
and friends and gaining their professional insight and feedback. In 10 years,
Annunzia has participated in about 50 art exhibits.In 1999, Annunzia had
exhibits in Ancona, Sarnano, Madonna Di
Garufo. Also, Annunzia had the
privledge to display her exhibit, entitled, “Shades of Autumn” a
retrospective in her honor was sponsored by the culture bureau in her native
town, Inzago.

Furthermore, Annunzia graciously received the International honor, “ Premio Speciale Josepin 2000.” Her work was highly commended and was praised as “having given us the colors of passion and the sublime taste of the feminine in art, as seen as the storm of senses present in her passionate women.
