Montevettolini is a picturesque part of Northwest Tuscany. This farmhouse is located 5 minutes drive away from the town of Montevettolini is tiny hill top village dominated by the original medieval villa that is still owned by the Borghese princes. You can eat out in the square at the excellent restaurant of San Michele, or enjoy a glass of chilled bubbly prosecco wine.
There is a nine hole golf course at Montevettolini, or if that is too strenuous you can take advantage of the Spa and hot pool facilities of the Grotta Giusti resort in nearly Monsummano Terme. There is a public swimming pool for the kids 10 minutes drive away in the town of Casalguidi where there are supermarkets, a pharmacy, and general stores. The famous Tuscan Towns of San Giminagno, Volterra and Florence are all within an hours drive, as are the beaches of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi.
